happy thursday and I'm off tomorrow morning - not for R&R though but to do some of my self employment job!  Then i am off down the motorway to my day job as i'm in the office for a training session - what a way to end the working week

Good morning and happy day off Friday 🎉 🥳 tra la la….skips over to my diary 😬
I will need to straighten my hair before venturing out into the world, or I may get swept up and popped in a padded room for my own safety. I’m looking a tad wild. I grew out my fringe, but I can often look like cousin it when I first get up now, or one of those Dougal dogs, where you can’t see which side is which 😬
I have ordered a hotel c sleekster for my friends birthday, but will get a tiny bit back through top cash back. That’s the start of the spending day. I think I’ll take quite a hit in the post office with the heavy parcels and I need stamps….how did stamps get so expensive? Then off for a lovely lunch and a Lidl Christmas goodies shop. The tree will get put up this weekend, if we don’t have time today.
I have tidied another £5 into Christmas 22 pot and £15 into my service & mot pot. Hopefully I’m not leaving December too tight, but I’ll see after today.

we have a lantern parade and carol singing here in our village tomorrow, so will go to that, stuff on in village during the day too.

Good morning and happy Saturday ☕️🍫📚🎄
All the parcels are posted and a stack of treats and frozen goodies are in the house for December and Christmas. It’s nice to get things we can’t find in MrT. I got a mini stollen, a mini panettone and a mini Christmas cake as I’m the only one that likes them. Then wonderful things like winter edition Ritter sports, Christmas biscuits, frozen party food and cheap champagne 😁
The meal wasn’t up to par though! I was very disappointed. The Mac n cheese is usually delicious, but was thin and watery like they’d just waved the cheese at it. I mentioned it and asked if there was a new chef or a change of recipe . The waiter was new so didn’t know, but came back to say we wouldn’t be charged for it. The brownie sundaes were off the menu, just brownie and ice cream instead, but they kindly made us sundaes anyway. But then the coffee, which usually comes with a delicious home made shortbread on the side came with nothing! So although they knocked some of the bill off, it really wasn’t special anymore. They won’t keep all the locals over winter by downgrading the quality and its come off my number one spot. We only go once a month, so maybe they won’t miss us, but there are much cheaper places I can go to be disappointed 🤣
Anyhow, that’s the spending done with! I now hope to survive on £60 for the rest of the month. I need nothing so it should be doable ..if.I.am.good! (Send help).
Our electricity switched over to the new tariff this morning after the collapse fiasco and MrWW is raging at the huge price hike that has happened overnight. It’s costing lots more even when we are sleeping 😖
We need to crack on and tidy the house so the tree can go up.
