Just de-lurking (is that a word 😆) to say if all else fails I bought thermal insoles 2 pairs for £1 in £ land for my wellies and they are fab. Just cut to size.@WinterWarrior hope your old girlie is feeling better today. Our 4yo lab goes down quick but luckily bounces back quickly at that age. Having had a few emergency vet visits (people leaving grapes and raisins on the grass for the swans / birds / squirrels) we have to be ultra careful now as she is such a dustbin. It’s such a worry when they are not themselves 🐶0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Good morning and happy Thursday ☕️🍫📚
Thanks everyone. Dog is still not quite herself, but seems a bit better. We will be keeping an eye on her.@Skint_yet_Again de-lurking works for me 😁 The thermal insoles sound just the thing for beanie.
Today is my Friday as I have tomorrow off. I can’t afford it work wise, but need to take it as I’m owed a lot of hours. I will use it to wrap and box up presents ready for posting.
I expect today will be a long day trying to squeeze in the essentials that I would normally leave for tomorrow 😖
I am hopeful for another NSD.

WinterWarrior - I really dislike present wrapping, when youngest dd lived at home she always did it all for me (obviously not her own though

I’m not a huge wrapping fan either. We had a power cut in the village from 2pm to 7pm so I missed half a days work and had no way to explain my absence on various meetings, including 2 I was hosting 😖 I will now have to log in tomorrow to explain where I was and try to catch up ☹️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I’m sure people will understand, it can’t be helped.I don’t like wrapping up either, I try to do it in small stages so I don’t get angry with it. Don’t get me started on paper that rips and sellotape where the ends disappears 🤬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I just chuck it all in gift bags these days.
My wrapping looks like a two year old year old has done it.

Good morning and happy Friday 🍫📚☕️Almost a day off today 😬 as I need to log on because of yesterday’s missed afternoon 😞
other than that it will be wrapping, Christmas movies and making a shepherds pie if the 2 days out of date mince looks ok. The plan was to use it yesterday, but power cut!I just need to survive until Tuesday now, when I can do the money shuffle and pay back the savings and then buckle down for December ☹️I hope you all have a fantastic Friday filled with wonderful things 📚🍫☕️🎁🍁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
