WinterWarrior - I think pup is just lonely when he wakes, he's very good on the toilet side of things, dd is hoping to have him back in the next couple of weeks, they do see him at weekends and in the week as well, so although he probably thinks he lives with me, I don't think there will be a problem when he goes home and he will still see me often as I will miss him.
On the money side of things, nobodies perfect, and I reckon we all have many light bulb moments, I know I have and still have them. And there's always some company trying to part you from your hard earned cash. When I was in debt my kids used to say they liked the fact we didn't have much money because I cooked different meals, lentils with everything to pad it out is all I remember and lots of mashed potato with anything meals!!! No rose tinted glasses on me!!! It's funny what they tend to remember in comparison to me!! One year I wrapped presents in newspaper that I had been given and painted holly and Santa's on it, they loved that as well, for me it saved me money in wrapping paper lol, oh happy days!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!
Anyway what I'm trying to say is just try your best when you can and count up all the little victories as they make a bigger difference than you think, sometimes it's easier not to see the bigger picture only the immediate one and perhaps you're taking a more scenic route like most of us.

I agree @nannygladys, he’s still only a baby and they’d rather wake up in a puppy huddle than all alone. It must be quite frightening when they are little. I also have lots of ‘poor things’ from childhood that I look back on with joy (or laughter).
@beanielou that’s ingenious…try it and report back! Would the heat holder socks be too thick? If nothing else works then a bigger pair of boots for extra socks is a solid investment…you are doing amazing work there and shouldn’t have to suffer with cold feet. It sounds more essential to be comfortable while you are there ⭐️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Wednesday.
Dog was sad last night and went out a few times in the garden. Luckily MrWW took her, but I did still have to rub her down at 2am as she was soaking. She finally spent the last 4 hours starfishing on our bed, which isn’t like her during the night. She just needed cuddles. As she gets older it’s hard to tell what’s wrong. I was reading until 3am as was wide awake then. Not so much now!
I shuffled £5 to Christmas 2022 and £2.30 to the mortgage from a huge £7 top cash back cash out!
Giovanni winning bake off! Well I never!Yesterday was the first day I started to feel comfortable with my new extra job, there is a light at the end of that tunnel!I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday filled with good things.📚🍫☕️☕️☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning WW,
Giuseppe was my favourite so I'm a happy bunny he won 🏆.
I was going to say don't beat yourself up about the spends but then thought, sometimes we need a kick up the bum. So put your plan into action and take the small victories.
Hope pup is ok? Such a worry when they are out of character.

NaomimI was hoping Chiggs would sneak in there, but I don’t mind who won really. I just thought when Giuseppe burnt the buns he’d lost it!Dog is such an old lady now, so it’s a real worry. She just seems a bit confused and clingy. We’ll see how she goes. After the emergency vet call out last time and then her bouncing back in an hour like she didn’t know what the fuss was about I think I’ll see how she is later, she’s asleep under my desk just now and was eating ok.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I must admit I liked the 3 finalists. Whispers** I wasn't keen on Jurgen.
I'm sure it probably is just old age with doggo and who are we to refuse extra cuddles! 💖Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again2 -
Hope your dog is ok.
I will admit I don't watch Bake Off. I've tried to get into it in the past but struggled, probably because I'm not a cake or baking fan, I don't know what it is.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
My older cat is very cuddly at the minute- I think it's because she likes sitting on a warm lap and easing her muscles.Bottom line;
