@carolbee I kept having to cull my books so we weren’t overrun, so I absolutely love my kindle. The trouble I have is that I don’t want to borrow them, I want to have them…mine, all mine (insert evil laugh here).
@Kakiste,it’s so much harder to sew for someone else, instead of just what you fancy!The dog drive was lovely, not too far, about 20 miles…and we saw the hugest cruise ship I’ve ever seen up here…I was well impressed. I showed dog and then told MrWW when I got back, but neither were as impressed as me 🙄
@CRANKY40 £0? Oh no, I do hope chocolate is in the food budget!! I promise I will keep my spends updated and will tell you what they are…it may keep me on track as I’ll be worried about the collective eye rolls from my diary friends 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Sounds like a great drive out, the cruise ship sounds amazing.I’m also interested in what you spend your personal spends money on 🤔😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Fancy not being impressed! I’ll ooh and aah for you. We once saw a cruise ship docked with a big smile/ lips on the front at Dover, but at our seaside bit, they’re too far out.
I do buy books too. We seriously considered moving to Portugal last year, and a library room was a must, as bigger houses= cheaper prices meant I could have indulged one of my life long lovesCarolbee2 -

The commission piece is a banner as well so its fricking huge- Sat on the sofa currently and its 60 inch x 60 inch as the main piece (there are two that size as its double sided) and then it has tails (flappy bits on the side) which are three colours alternating and each stretch to a metre long. *twitch*
My fingers are hurting from the sewing so I'm doing the loops to attach it to the pole atm as they are only 1 panel of thickness rather than 3 or 4.
I'm also impressed with your cruise ship news.Bottom line;

Hi WinterWarrior, good luck with you £50 challange hope your going to log it all!!
Magic trousers- are they the ones that are super stretchy or do you just paint your legs? Lol I could do with some of those, but not this month going for a no spend month to see if I can do it (well only on necessities).
