I love both of those c words SA 😋
elbree, it’s only because I raided other savings that the pots survived 😟
I have been doing my month end thinking again (dangerous, I know), so the low down is..
The good…pots not touched. Insurance paid in one go. Credit card cleared after every single use.
The bad…borrowed from savings, borrowed again…and borrowed again!
The ugly…when will I learn? Before I was using my credit card and then paying it off on payday, taking a hefty chunk from the next months money…now I’m still doing the same, but from savings. When I pay them back and add the savings I need to put in to get to my year end target it leaves me with a very low amount to play with for September 😖
so September after everything I want to live on £50 per week…that should be plenty for books and frittering.  I know I’ve tried before, but I will aim to put leftovers in a pot at the end of each week. I think this time I will update my signature with my weekly spends, I’ve seen a few people do this type of thing ( @nannygladys ?)
And it might help…at least you can have a laugh at my essential spending 😁 I promise I’ll try to keep you amused 😝
I think my problem is boredom spending and finding things to do. All week I count down to the weekend and then some weekends I’m counting down to go back to work! My friends and family are far away and I don’t work local, so it’s quite hard to find things to entertain myself with. Anyway, that was a very short pity party, I hope you enjoyed it 🎉 🎈…I won’t have another for a while, I promise 😂🌺

Good morning and happy Saturday ☕️🍫🌺
No spend plans today. One more needed to get to target! Yesterday I spent money on a good can opener…MrWW got a new one not so long ago, but it’s awful, by the time it gets round the tin I could have opened it 4 times 🙄. We spend a lot of time opening tuna for one of the cats.
I hope you all have an amazing Saturday full of good things 📚🍫☕️

One tin of Hero’s opened, plan to have five chocs each every day  over bank holiday weekend. Bought another eight tins, whilst on offer, this is a money saving site after all!  Plans for giving them away to some groups we are involved with on a charity project

    🤣🤣🤣 8 tins….think of all the money you’ll have saved 😬
I’m secretly impressed that you are planning just 5 each (grab some more while he’s not looking) and also glad you didn’t keep your St Carol name for too long…you were putting me to shame 😂
