Thanks for your help so far.Coupon-mad said:They do what they like because they are, by all accounts, a kangaroo court that has made bizarre anti-consumer decisions for years and only uphold an abysmal 5% of appeals, so why would they change the habit of a lifetime if they think a consumer might be frightened enough to pay the beloved AOS member?!

Ignore the outcome, waste of time and a disgrace that this still happens. Sit tight.
You know from everything on this forum, especially the advice in the NEWBIES thread, to come back if you get a LBC or court claim of course and to tell the PPC if you change address as you need to check each begging letter.
AND PLEASE COME BACK HERE EVERY WEEK OR SO, BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT:
The new (final) Government Consultation this Summer is something you must make sure you get your say in, given what you've been through.https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/78411172/#Comment_78411172Please, please come back every week to check and make sure your voice - AND YOUR FRIENDS’ AND RELATIVES’ VOICES TOO - is/are not missed from this final opportunity to take part in the Government Consultation, coming very soon!
I was wondering what your thoughts are on naming the driver now.
Would this re set proceedings to the start?
I ask because the owner isn't the most confident of people and also the un named driver may well be returning to Australia.1 -
Yes name the driver once (or just before) they have an Australian address.
By the way the IAS have surpassed themselves and this last year in their Report they only upheld 4% of appeals. Absolutely shocking.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think things may have progressed too quickly for that now.
A letter has been received by gladstones headed letter before claim. Much sooner than expected!
They have added on 70 pounds costs 'claimed by the client'
Bit confused about the order now.
So still name the driver with uk address or carry on now without naming?
Follow the procedure for requesting sar info from keeper, and does something need sending because its gladstones.
The two options on letter are pay debt or dispute debt responding via reply form on website or requesting paper version.
Land owner details/ non domestic rate payer were never obtained because data protection was used at all levels including councillors. Local MP has been asked directly but expect the same response if one is ever received.
This makes land owner authority hard to verify.
Cheers everyone for all the help by the way.

Are the CTSI aware of this?

Unless you want a claim form arriving, yes, name the driver with an Australian address.
If they haven't got one yet, name them with their UK address and then when Gs write to them, the driver can reply and ask Gs to note that they are moving to Oz and to erase the UK address and tell their client to do the same (really important not to just not reply, and not to leave a UK address held or they'll use it for a claim).
We've been rather busy drafting our detailed comments to the Government consultation as all posters here must do, and sharpish. Please tell us you know about these other two threads (below) and have done both required urgent tasks?
I really hope you have done the Government Consultation and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge and the £130 level.

So I just looked at the pcm UK website and can't find any details of email contact for information control officer.Coupon-mad said:Unless you want a claim form arriving, yes, name the driver with an Australian address.

So how on earth do you send a sar request via email without that. These companies do their best provide annoyance at every level.

The NEWBIES thread tells you how to find any DPO contact email and it’s not by looking at their website, as such.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
