Two photos are best, one to show it and one to show it hidden by a vehicle.
I married my cousin. I had to...

I didn't feel comfortable taking a photo when there were a few vehicles at the pumps - if it was a public footpath -type situation, I'd be more comfortable, but this is private land, I don't want to risk anything since I do use the shop to buy stuff when I CBA going all the way to the nearest Morrisons or Lidl (this site is about halfway between them and my house).

    Hi @MothballsWallet and @Fruitcake.
I took a few pics. Some of which are on post one of this thread.
As you know the site you will know the entrance off the main road (the one in picture)
There is a single small sign that (purposefully)  faces the wrong way. It is impossible on entering to know that there are even parking conditions. Ironically the nearest sign along the fence at about 2 foot high was covered by a parked vehicle in the 'evidence' they sent. Evidence that showed nothing. Always the best kind of evidence I think. I would say all signage there has been strategically installed to trap.
Also a quick update on proceedings..
The appeal template sent was added to slightly clarifying that they send evidence that a breach even took place.
Obviously it was rejected. They just sent a larger picture that again does not prove any breach adding that 'the operators notes say another site was visited'
I feel this is obviously made up nonsense but it does beg the question, who is this operator they speak of? A fictional person stating things in an attempt at admission?
I also read a post on here about it being trespass and therefore impossible to enter a contract to park.
Another question. I have been advised here that a further appeal to the isa may work in this case but that completely contradicts advice of ignoring ISA appeals?
Also I have not heard back about land owner/ non domestic rate details after 2 email requests over 3 weeks. So sterling work by the council.

The NEWBIES says not to try an IAS appeal, but it is now sometimes suggested this might work due to staff shortages/furlough, but replies and rebuttals should be made at every stage.
MSE only allows the NEWBIES to be unlocked very infrequently for editing, which is why it still says not to bother.

If anyone does use it, the most important thing is to ensure it is the free version, not the non-refundable £15 jobby that is binding on the motorist.
I have a few weeks so if all else fails!

    @MothballsWallet @KeithP
I have received a response from the council saying 'what information are you looking for? I cannot provide non domestic rate payer details due to GDPR'
Surely thats the exact info I am looking for. I did not think that would be 'classified under gdpr' its normally published publicly is it not?
And if I say I want to know who owns the land they will respond with the same gdpr excuse? Or possibly refer me to land registry?
I also contacted bp who again told me bp do not own or run that garage but they do expect the same high standards bp is known for. Really  :|

That statement is only true if the ratepayer is an individual.

The 0845 number is premium rate, which is also prohibited.
I contacted trading standards about the 0845 number used and the fee added for payment asking if this was permitted or lawful.
Their response was 'If you have received a parking ticket you can appeal' 'have you checked your washing machine'
Am I expecting too much of professional organisations these days.
