Wee day off today, having a day out with a friend so hoping the rain stops soon🙏
This week has been mainly work and online training for new job, roll on Monday when I have a few days off. Must buy a Mother’s Day gift and deliver today as I am working long days Fri-sun.
Filled my car up yesterday, must have been the first time in a month!

    Best of luck with them.

When is your next trip out to enjoy the scenery? I am considering a Scottish holiday as you have made me really miss the scenery.

Good idea SH, you can’t beat it! It was rather misty yesterday so no decent photos sorry. Catching up with a friend on Monday but it will be a city centre thing, probably no new scenery until the beginning of next month😩
I have a couple of days to myself next week though so if the weather is good…
Nearly finished the training but it will have to wait until Monday as I am shattered after work today. Mother’s Day gift bought and delivered yesterday😇

I have been out exploring. Always feel better when I do. DS drove and I enjoyed the respite

Prioritising health at the moment as I have put on almost a stone and just feel shattered, hopefully shorter working days will help but I have had a few days off so I am trying to reset and get back into healthy habits.
I walked twice today - had a health screening at a different town so went for a walk afterwards and another at home this afternoon, quite a change in weather! (Sunny and calm was later in the day.)

    Thank you both.
I have managed to stay on track with the diet for two whole days now😱 lots of work related walking too😇
Payslip is in and it’s better than anticipated but must keep spending in check until settled in to new job. Only a few more shifts to go…
