    Scotland is pretty, come visit!
    I really want to. It's a long way for me though. If DS does agree to go on holiday with me it could be an option - but don't think DD would enjoy it but don't want to offend her by excluding her. Hard to afford the more people that go too. I'm hoping it works out - as I think it could be a fab trip particularly if DS does much of the driving which he may as it's still a novelty for him.

    Thanks - still lots of planning to do. Unless you can suggest any cheap cottage holiday sites - the ones I've been on so far seem expensive compared with what I usually pay - but if DS comes I need 2 rooms so that will be part of it. I'll need to raid my savings if I go...
