yes you can, there is no stipulated time.

They did the same for me. It looks like the payees from the old account in the switch are being referred to as standing orders. I am now off to Google BILP.schiff said:Halifax have set up a standing order to another bank (one I use but not the switched account) described as Type BILP, no other details. In a letter received today. Nothing is showing via my Halifax account when checked online. What does BILP stand for?
Edit. It looks like this has been around for a while.

I asked the (switched-to) Halifax - no idea.Nothing showing on the switched-to account.0 -
Have you received the card yet?armith said:Well, the account set-up went smoothly enough - all set up, switch day scheduled and £100 sitting there. The current irritation is in setting up Google Pay - the only verification option is "Call your bank" - the message on the Halifax line says "urgent only" and "it'll be at least half an hour".0 -
Yes, card came through last week, I was able to use it and everything was set up fine. The only irk is that I've got to spend half an hour on hold trying to get through to Halifax, which is tricky when working from home because the "working" bit gets in the way! I've managed 20 minutes so far before having to bale due to a work call coming in - wonder if they're open at 2am?TheMightySwordfish said:Have you received the card yet?

Did anyone else who was expecting it, not get their £100 switch incentive?I'm not going to query it as I opened a 3rd Reward account to switch into (maybe their system picked up on that?)All 3 Reward accounts are on target to pay me a free fiver monthly, so I am doing well out of them, but just wondered if anyone else didn't get their £100?0

The only time I've not been paid a Halifax incentive was when they had a debit card spend requirement as a part of their offer and I made a transaction after I initiated my switch but before it completed, so it didn't meet the criteria. The other time I've switched they've been super quick to pay out.SpanishBlue said:Did anyone else who was expecting it, not get their £100 switch incentive?I'm not going to query it as I opened a 3rd Reward account to switch into (maybe their system picked up on that?)All 3 Reward accounts are on target to pay me a free fiver monthly, so I am doing well out of them, but just wondered if anyone else didn't get their £100?
Are you sure you met all the terms of the offer? Did you switch into a newly opened account, haven't had an incentive since April 2020, etc. The offer also ended a few weeks ago in case you finished a switch fairly recently and have missed the cut off date? I don't have multiple accounts so I can't comment if that has thrown a spanner in the works but I think a few posters mentioned earlier in the thread that they got the incentive payment by opening a second/third reward account and switching in...

I was sure that I had met all the requirements, but I have just checked my old statements and discovered that I did in fact get a £100 incentive last summer when I opened my 2nd Reward account!
So my fault for not double checking, I had completely forgotten about it.Oh well, three lots of £5 coming in every month is a nice 2nd prize!1
