I did mine on the 6th April at 8pm and finally got my repayment issued on the 1st of June, I'd given up checking so I was beyond shocked when I saw my bank balance. I have been doing this for over 15 years now and this is something that I have never experienced before not even close to this year, good luck to everyone still waiting and hopefully they start issuing a few more over the coming days.
Not unsurprisingly with little else to do. Taxpayers have flooded the HMRC with returns earlier than normal.

Someone's has to be held accountable for what is happening. This is a joke how long this is taking. Anyone else wouldn't get away with it. People can't keep using covid as an excuse not do their jobs properly anymore. That's obviously what the hmrc are doing. Everyone has had it hard but has still managed to do there job.

Try telling those who are trying to get through to customer services on banks,  insurance etc.

Many people are still working from home.

Less stafi n offices due to social distancing between desks Many people are having to self isolate due to contact with a  positive case.

Add on increased demand and you have work mounting up and queues waiting to be dealt with.

Gp'S and hospitals are not providing their normal service.

Dentists are not providing their normal service.

So,'everyone'  has not managed tp do their job.

People appear to have had plenty of time during their working day to spend complaining. Means that they aren't being productive themselves by servicing their own customers.
