I know was waiting from 6th April but had to do amendment as had my figure slightly wrong on my turnover and tax amount so expected to be waiting longer but when they have reissued the repayment it hasn’t flagged anymore so issued no problem. Assuming the difference in CIS accounts was the issue for me.jamesieboi46 said:

What date did you do the amendment? I had seen a woman done an amendment and she reckons that's boosted her money to come in quicker? Might be worth a shot you knowSssss12346 said:

I did the amendment on 28th May when I managed to get all the CIS slips from my contractors. It was only a slight change to turnover and cis tax paid as one of my contractors took retention from gross so didn’t match what was invoiced. It then took 3 days to process and was showing I owed them £12 which was the difference between my new repayment and the original one from 6th that was still pending so I contacted them on live chat last Wednesday to ask about the amount showing owed and she cancelled my original repayment and requested new one for right amount. And now had it showing on account as repayment issued with yesterday’s date. So yeah it did seem to do the trick. Worth trying mate. I asked the HMRC advisor if this amendment would put me to back of queue and delay it more she said no as referral was made to team and I had been given a date if it remained in the worklist it would still get picked up the same under the referral.jamesieboi46 said:

Aw so you had a referral aswel I see I don't really want to risk amending anything as I have seen so many people that have waited from the 6th not even had the request a payment option to them yet its that bad! I'm from the 16th so I can't understand why these people can't even request payment yet but glad to see some issued going on now just be such a mega back log will come eventually I just need some more patience hope you enjoy your refund 😬 can't wait for mines hahaSssss12346 said:

Yeah the live chat people done referral as it had passed the deadline date of 23rd May when the security checks should have been done so he raised referral to the team and they came back said will be done by 1st July due to backlogs but that was before I amended. I had got all my CIS slips in from my contractors expecting the letter everyone had got and that’s when I realised the difference. Was the contractors fault he should have put through and taxed on what I invoiced so my figures would have been right. No had a letter yet or anything. I do honestly think though that the advisor cancelling the original and resubmitting new one is prob why mine now issued. If you haven’t had a letter I would check yours and if anything needing changed I would contact them and ask them to cancel the original repayment and then amend your return and resubmit the repayment will prob get it in a week then.jamesieboi46 said:
