Good morning everyone
I am firmly in the Wide Awake Club today but I don't mind. It was my birthday yesterday and I had a fantastic day with lots and lots of fabulous food as my daughters got together and made a party lunch for all of us to share. It was amazing and then my husband cooked me a roast lamb dinner which we didn't eat until late so that is probably why I can't stay asleep 😉.
I am back on it today though as I gave away all the leftover party food to my eldest daughter and the grandchildren and then another daughter who lives with her boyfriend also took loads away. I do still have an untouched birthday cake which one of my daughters made me but I am not worried about that as I will have a little taste today and then let the kids demolish it.
I bought a Hello Fresh box to try at 50% off and so far the meals have been very nice but quite high in calories. I have a Middle Eastern beef stew with couscous tonight which sounds lovely. I don't mind these as a trial but I have already unsubscribed from receiving any more boxes. I prefer to have more control over what I cook but it's been nice getting some more meal ideas.
I will weigh myself later on and take that as my starting point as I can feel I have put a bit of weight back on. Good luck to everyone and thank you Brambling for giving your time to this challenge.7 -

Blue pass that black pen over here please, I have a very thick line to draw.Well back to work today, and back to normal hours including Saturdays, so, much as I'm groaning, it should help we stay on track better, it's dh birthday next week, there shall be cake and nice food, but I shall try to restrain myself.Have a good day x'You have brains in your head. Hi All,
Checking in with a 2lb loss this week. Well done to everyone and commiserations to anyone needing to draw a line - I know that feeling well. Hoping the temperature starts to pick up soon, getting very fed up of being cold - and always wanting a hot chocolate in the evening (better than wine, I guess).
Have a good week everybody.8 -

Happy birthday for yesterday Dumpling it sounds like you had a lovely day
I've replaced the pencil with a thick black marker pen as you lot have broken the lead this weekI managed to grab onto the wagon when it stopped at the start of the quarter and I'm actually sitting comfortable for now (don't quote me when it all goes to pot) I forgot to weight in on Wednesday so will do two weeks this week.
Ditty I loosely plan in that I say chicken Monday, Salmon Tuesday etc without usually listing what exactly I'm doing with the protein unless I want to do something specific and need ingredients
I had to pop into town first thing before work to get a colour test done before my hair appointment on Thursday, it seems regulations have changed and he is required to test us every 6 months and it was snowing quite heavily 8.15am. There was a layer of about 1cm on the car when I got up which was very fine but there was quite a flurry when I drove down to town I felt sorry for the cafes putting tables outside but it was all gone by 9am. I'm not sure if snow comes under April showers
Have a good week everyone
