Hi all, I would also like to join you. A lifelong food binger and overeater. Now I have retired I can concentrate on my weight better and eat better.
Already done is reducing portions by eating off side plates, not eating as much sweet stuff, stopped nightime snacking. Need to eat more fruit, less pie and cream.
We have a nephew who brings us cream which would be thrown out (catering college) so we have learnt to make portions of cheesecake and icecream that are measurable and all frozen.
My aim up up to 30th June is 12lbs.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Frith I had a binge week like that last week: buttered buns, demi-baguette cheese and salad sandwiches (hm, so not at all easy on the cheese fillings!), pack of penguins, pack of kitkats ...and several glasses of wine.
Gosh, it was good. 🥳I felt really fat afterwards, and it’s been a relief to get back to a much less carby diet.

Welcome to the thread bit_by_bit
I'm also an evening snacker I'm currently trying a baby bel (I know not proper cheese) and 6 cherry tomatoes chopped up at 9.00pm to try and avoid eating anything I shouldn't
i do freeze double cream in small portions after whipping it to soft peaks, but if he is gifting you lots that's probably not a solution.
Two weeks WI for me and I'm reporting a 3lb lossit did think about a little more but standing on one leg didn't encourage it to show another 1/2 lb

The whole week's record since last weigh-in
Thursday 1518 cals 7 veg/fruit
Friday 1503 cals 7 fruit/veg
Saturday 1780 cals 6 veg/fruit (quarter Easter egg = 50g dark chocolate)
Sunday 1831 cals 6 veg/fruit (quarter Easter egg = 50g dark chocolate)
Monday 1815 cals 6 fruit/veg (no chocolate today! but apple pie & cream)
Tuesday 1855 cals 4 fruit/veg (quarter Easter egg - but other quarter given away)
Wednesday 1685 cals 6 fruit/veg (chocolate - wickedly sent to me by a
so-called friend/fiend for my birthday)
1712 cals - daily average since last weigh-in
so will see how that translates to either another loss or a STS (surely it can't be a gain?)

Morning Friends
I'm weighing with a loss of -2lb I'm fairly pleased, although I'd put on a fair bit at the end of the last quarter but the sun is out and I'm feeling determined. Off today so not too much planned, food shopping and the post office.
meals today
B fruit
L falafel made with chickpea and sweet pot, pitta no salad
D dd has requested chicken tortilla soup, not made it before but will give it a try.
dd is off out to the park with her friends tomorrow so might try and drag ds for a walk, I'm sure he's forgotten what the outside looks like.Have a good day x'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess
