Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2021 - 2nd Quarter

So I'm at 11 st 5 lb and should be about 10 st 7lb or just under 11 st when I'm done ( I know I will never be completely done) But it's so close, so I'm good to stick with my 10 lb for a target, and it should take me to or near the finishing line. Unfortunately it is close to the same 10 lb (-3 lb that I did loose) as last quarter, but anyways I feel my body has stopped trying to put the weight back on, which is something in it self.
I am so proud of everybody on here loosing so much weight, and I don't know how you do it, but I know that you work hard to do it every day. I will try to just be more forth right and weigh in every week, so I just did my Tuesday and will continue to do so this quarter.
Swimming stats again next week and I will probably do indoor and outdoor. I had booked for an outdoor swim yesterday but chickened out due to snow and arctic winds. Fingers crossed for Saturday.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Went for an 8 mile walk on Sunday, and a 5 mile walk yesterday.
debating whether to go for another walk today or not (as I have a day off). Trying to build up so that whenever I have to return to the office, I can walk it and save money on travel (annoyingly the bus time is about the same to walk it!)working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?8 -
1/2lb loss for me. I also prefer the chocolate-as-meal approach, otherwise I keep going back for a little bit more and eat it all anyway!

Hello All
I'm in the eat-it-all-at-once camp, but only for special occasions like Christmas/ Birthday/Easter, I can quite happily portion out a bar (or a chocolate orange 😋) sensibly. I'm definitely suffering from my Easter madness and as I weigh in on Wednesdays, I'll take that as my start for this week.
I'm off the rest of this week with the kids and hope to get out for a walk or two, but the weather is disappointing dreary 😞'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Have not stuck to BSD over the weekend. Sainsbury’s order has arrived so I’ll do some batch cooking tomorrow and get back on it.
Breakfast - hot cross bun
Lunch - veg bake from Greggs
Tea - will be pasta bake and garlic bread.
Ive been cleaning my Aunty’s house out all day so grabbing what I could. My sister came to help and we’ve decided it’s a job for a specialist company - she’s kept literally every letter, receipt and stamp since the 1950s...6 -

Well done on putting the first smile on the chart Dominique 👏
If you can be sure there's nothing of value Frith I think getting a professional in is the best option, you've already have a lot on your plate. I think it's probably a age thing, my mum never threw anything away a combination of no money and living through the war, in later years we would try to sort things out for her. I found her 1970s radio rentals agreement for our first TV when sorting her paperwork 10 years ago. I emptied her loft when my dad died and she stood at the bottom of the ladder questioning everything even our old school books
Newlywed I miss my last job when I could walk, 2 miles each way. I found I woke up in the morning and relaxed in the evening and was a lot fitter

@Brambling it’s 3 miles each way but none of it is flat! Both ways it’s downhill then uphill. My mistake was buying a yearly bus pass when I gave up having a car... as I pretty much stopped walking at all, even though the bus takes the same time. The yearly bus pass ran out last year and I don’t want to pay all that money when I know walking will be much better for me (and for the size of my butt!)
plus I have been avoiding buses since COVID and don’t want to have to increase my risks by getting 2 buses and then also sharing a large open plan office with workmates. In addition... I can avoid more of the deli and bakeries if I walk a specific route, passing just one walking instead of five when I get off the bus!
in fact I used to get off the bus 2 stops later so my walk from bus to office wouldn’t have to pass all the tempting pastries.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?6 -
