Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2021 - 2nd Quarter

I could do with losing the weight I know Ive put on over lockdown, but my scales are playing weird trick! The last couple of weeks I've weighed myself at the same time each morning, on the same bit of bathroom floor, and the scales have gone up and down by 4lbs from one day to the next - I don't think my weight can be fluctuating by that much! So I would love to join in but think reporting my loss (or gain) might be a bit tricky! or is this a thing others have found too?

I have got dodgy scales too. They have to be on one particular tile on the kitchen floor because it appears to be the only level bit of the house.
The important thing is what is happening in the body though, not what we see on the scales.8 -
Hi All and Brambling,
I'm setting my target for Q2 2021 at 6lbs.
I'm starting this quarter exactly the same weight I was on 1st April 2020. By the end of June 2020 I had lost 6lb, so that's my Q2 target again.
Thank you"Think of many things, do one"

Hi Brambling, can I set my target for 14lb this quarter. Sorry for being a bit late to the challenge but I haven't been too well. I feel better now and I am going to try a retro F-Plan diet for a few weeks. I did this back in the day and I think there were quite a few recipes that I liked. Hubby is going on it too although to be fair he isn't as keen as me 🤣🤣🤣. I am mainly on it to try and stabilize my blood sugars as they are not brilliant at the mo. Good luck everyone x7

Welcome newbies 👋 and welcome back old friends 🙂. Hopefully I've picked you all up
2childmum2 don't worry if you can't weigh in, I agree fluctuations of 4lb a day sounds like dodgy scales, I have a cheap pair of salter electronic scales (no bells or whistles) which are very reliable
Enjoy the rest of the Easter Weekend guys 🐣

Hello. Please can I join?I have lost 3 stone since 1 September. But have another 2 stone to go.... I only weigh on 1st month and the weight loss is slowing down now, along with my motivation!I do Harcombe Diet and one of its main theme is to just eat real food. Have gone a bit astray this weekend after several things went wrong ... need to get back to it on Monday.Goal for the quarter is 14lbs.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?8
