I've decided that it might be worth buying some new scales - can anyone recommend some?  Nothing too fancy - just ones which weigh fairly consistently!  Thanks

I have had these ones for about 3 years with no problems, they seem pretty consistent

Mine are Salter as well. They were cheap ones from Argos and, as long as I put them on a completely flat part of the floor, they weigh pretty consistently. Not that I've been testing this out much recently as I've still got my head stuck firmly in the sand... The realisation that I'm going to have to leave the house and see people soon has scared me into at least thinking about getting my act together so hopefully I'll be able to report a loss eventually.

Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx
