Good morning everyone
I'm just popping on to record a 5lb loss this week. I've changed my weigh in day to Saturday for a change to see if I can relax a bit over the weekend. I have done something very very scary for me. I have booked a weekend away for next year at a holiday park and we are going to take our grandchildren with us. I have been agoraphobic for many years and only leave the house when I am hospitalized so this is a massive deal for me. I have given myself a year to lose a chunk of weight and to increase my stamina which is very poor at the moment. I will spend the next 12 months making myself go outside for small walks building up to longer ones so I can try and keep up with my grandkids.
Foodwise, I am having a week of ready meals and pot noodles. I need a break from meal planning and shopping and cooking. I've chosen meals that I wouldn't normally make so it makes a nice change and gives me ideas for another week.

I am desperately hanging onto my willpower.
I very nearly succumbed to fish and chips at the seafront in Blackpool today but was saved by a deluge of rain just at the right moment!
Yesterday..
Beef curry. Brown rice.
Tuna Baked spud and salad. Fun mars bar. (would have been more fun if it was bigger)
Today
Egg on toast.
Beef curry. One pack of crisps.

Sorry a bit late this week but thankfully am recording a sts for week just gone, am back on track (so far!) so hoping for some movement (downwards 😋) on weigh spray next Wednesday. Today, as it's Sunday, we are having roast chicken with the works and apple crumble for pud (my absolute fav) and then back to it tomorrow again.
Well done dumpling on the loss, but even more so on your plan, sounds very sensible and brave, and so lovely to have a wonderful goal to aim for ❤️

Hi Everyone
well done, dumpling! 👏
Weighing in with an STS. Cheese, scones, hm jam. But how to cope without when things threaten to go pear-shaped? (I like pears, and their sensuous curves, so why is “pear-shaped” so bad?)
Oh well, another week beckons.

I very nearly succumbed to fish and chips at the seafront in Blackpool today but was saved by a deluge of rain just at the right moment!I have another STS week this week - well, to be more precise I may have lost 1/4 lb, but I'm hanging onto that and counting it next week. I seem to do really well re what I'm eating for the first few days of the week but it all falls apart round about Friday night and doesn't get back on track until Monday. I had lost more on Wednesday last week, but obviously put it back by today!9 -
Popping by to say hello. I have been weaning myself off biscuits and chocs reasonably well since biscuit gate earlier in the week. Chocolate isn't always on my mind so much.
Charity Shop was good because no one offered us chocolate and I took fruit.
Went to the alltotment with DH today but got hungry. My apple and coffee kept me going for a while but had the 'porridge bar' I had kept in the car for just this reason. It would have been a trip to MAccys otherwise.
Well done dumpling. Build up slowly. Pre walk do something like initially have a nice drink to look forward to when you get back; even if you step out and step back in again. Plan what you are going to do each day. Most importantly, record your achievements in an achievment diary and how you feel. When you look back and you get to the first lamp post or the end of your path you will be amazed at how far you have come. DO NOT kick your self if you have a bad day. Its ok.
