It's daylight robbery just now SIRENS and I wouldn't be paying to go if I wasn't so worried about my friend, When we started going (way back in 2014, lol) I was the heaviest at 16 -10. My cousin who also comes was the high end of the 14 stones and my friend was the high end of the 13 stones. I haven't been to a class for 3 years but I'm now the lightest at the high end of the 13s, my cousin is mid 15s and my friend was over 17 stone. If my mate loses another 2 lb next week she will be back in the 16 stones so fingers crossed.

Daily post, again not bad but not great. I’d call my eating probably what average sized people eat but then I’m huge. I really have to eat very little to lose weight and low carb. I’m working on getting my steps up at the minute and that’s going well9
-
lantanna, snap! I also have to eat very little to lose weight. I have tried every Slimming Club ever invented and put on weight with every one. I love their diets, they let me eat much more than I usually do, with disastrous results. I must have the metabolism of a sloth.
With my new regime it has become distressingly obvious how little I need to eat to satisfy my appetite. Feeling really hungry is a new experience for me. That is, feeling hungry as opposed to just wanting to eat. It is difficult sometimes, to tell the difference.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Evening all
i joining Cranky and Sirens in the -2 club today 😁 it was a better number Monday morning but I've had a couple of bad foods 🙄 don't get me wrong I'm really happy with the 2 I just wished I hadn't wobbled especially as now given me that sweet taste back
Monna I think very few of us every feel really hungry 😐 I know when I've been on a really long walk and come back hungry for a late lunch it tastes better🤔 when I work in the office my colleague is early 30s 4 kids size 8 and eats carp all day crisps, biscuits, chocolate, jam sandwiches I once had to tell her having watched the unusual sight of her eating fruit was not all of her five a day as it was five grapes 🙄
You can do it Izadora we have your back and I'm keeping your seat warm on the wagon
I lost over 4 stone with SW over 10 years ago unfortunately when I stopped and RL got stressful I gained 5 backaround here they are still doing zoom meetings Cranky hopefully a loss will keep your friend going back
i managed to fit in 45 minutes of gardening lunch time in the sunshine, I really didn't want to rejoin my call at 2pm having been on for 4 hours this morning 🙄 two 4 hour Skype calls in a day is enough to send anyone to the kitchen, the mute button is a wonderful thing

No devils for me this week, as I am reporting a TWO AND A HALF POUNDS LOSS.
The plan today is butter bean curry and brown rice, and tuna, baked potato and salad.
Dumpling, I hope you are feeling better now? It sounds very scary, but hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick.
Perhaps you could "comfort drink" instead of eat? There is a lot of different sugar free canned drinks and syrups available now, so maybe that could work instead?6 -

Afternoon All,
ditty There are always pounds which are particularly stubborn but at least they're rattling in the right direction.
short bird Well done on the probable STS and I hope the postie arrived so that you could get out for scales
Cranky Well done on the loss and thank you for the encouragement. It does seem like a bit of a con that you have to pay just to get weighed but hopefully it'll help your friend get back on track.
Sirens Well done for the loss and I hope you enjoyed your husband's birthday. I agree with not wanting to pay for someone to tell me that I'm fat but I think it would significantly reduce IzHe's life expectancy if he did if for free
Lantanna I can sympathise, I have to cut my calories down quite a lot to lose any weight, and well done for increasing your steps.
monna Well done for making the distinction between actual hunger and wanting to eat. You're right that it's not easy and I know, based on how little I eat if I'm really busy and haven't had time to obsess over food, that I must get the two mixed up a lot.
Brambling Well done on the loss and thank you for keeping the seat warm. I don't envy you your Skype calls, if I have a call that lasts longer than half an hour I start to get really restless.
LittleVoice I can't believe how disciplined you are!! Sticking to your calories and managing to control your chocolate and cake each day is amazing.
Honey Well done on the loss. I've sometimes tried having a sugar-free fizzy drink instead of food when I've got a sweet craving but it's very hit and miss whether it works. Sometimes it does the trick and others it makes the craving for chocolate seem much worse
I was quite impressed when I went shopping yesterday that I managed to walk down the chocolate aisle and only pick up what I needed for making my dad's birthday cake. Normally I'd use being there as an excuse to pick stuff up because it's on offer/we haven't had it for a while/any other excuse you can think of. I now just need to try not to eat too much of the cake once it's made ...
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx7
