With my GP i can request fit notes online, is this an option for you? If i was told that by a receptionist at my GP practice then i would have put in a complaint as soon as i came off the phone. A receptionist isn't qualified to tell a patient whether they can or can't have a fit note.2

thanks latest reply's.
doesn't seem to be online fit note request via surgery.
I'll re try tomorrow as i had been originally advised I could have absence upto 6 weeks from doc.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
A fit note for 6 weeks may not be long enough because it may take longer than this for a decision to be made on the WCA. You will need to continue to send them with no breaks until a decision's been made.

@poppy12345
Recent complaint has been upheld, in progress before being finalised.
Not sure if wtc's will be re opened, or maybe that compensation payment is to be offered via uc account.
I'll then re try for fit note, though no neurology appt. until q1 2022.

I can't see how an offer of compensation will be offered through UC because HMRC and DWP and completely different. Speak to your GP regarding the fit note. I hope for you that they will re-open your tax credits because it wasn't your fault it closed in the first place and this should not have happened.

Though I hope to know soon enough.
Possibly returning to workplace over next few week or months, I'll then know what support is available if and when required.
Fit note likely to be later.

The thing is, delaying the fit note means delaying the WCA and delaying the potential payment of the extra element. It's up to you of course but an extra >£300 per month is a hefty amount of support to be passing up.0

Whats the reason for you delaying the fit note?

reason for delaying is I'll get idea of full time working effect over next few weeks including what support is to be made available.
I was at the point of not working, though it is optional if this role does not work.
plus seems my full time wages exceeds uc limits anyway.
One step at a time, very limited free time, 3 personal calls used 1st half of only mid weekday off yesterday, other priorities are looming late May and June.
thanks anyway appreciated.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

Indeed at the moment it does but if you're placed into the LCWRA group then there may well be some entitlement but of course that will depend on exactly how much earnings you receive during your AP. Time starts ticking when you send the evidence for your health condition.
