No complaint final answer as yet.
If any UC approved, only a week or two for info.
On 27 April 2021 we will tell you how much you are going to get.
    UC award 1st May.

Hopefully this results in some incoming funds.

That will be your UC statement. A single person over the age of 25 with no rent will be entitled to £411.51 per month maximum entitlement. As advised, if you've received no earned income since you started your claim then you will receive the full amount. If you're working full time then your next payment after this will be reduced to zero.

Have you reported a health condition on your journal and asked your GP for a fit note?

You need to report a health condition and have a fit note ready for when they ask you to log it on the system. though presumably you'd have reported your disability when you first applied.  If you don't have a 'to-do' asking you to upload details of a fit note then I would suggest double-checking it's noted somewhere on your details.  They won't refer you for a WCA if they don't know about your health.

If you're placed into the LCWRA group there's a full 3 month waiting time before you start receiving the extra money. It is then paid to you on the 4th month,  which is why you were advised to report the health condition and get the fit note when you first claimed it almost 4 weeks ago. As you are now almost at the end of your first assessment period, this month will not count towards that waiting period. The sooner you do this then the sooner that waiting period count down will begin.

Yes that's a standard message. Your UC is a new claim and you haven't yet had your first statement. Once you receive it, it will tell you all the elements you're entitled to (for you it is the standard element (over 25) then it will have any earnings you received during your AP, which will be nothing if you haven't yet been paid, so no deductions. Therefore you'll be entitled to the standard allowance of £409, as advised. Although as you had an advance payment there maybe deductions for that because it will need to be repaid back, i'm just not sure when they start to take payments.

Which confirms exactly what I advised. Have you had your first statement yet? If no earnings were received in your assessment period this time then you will receive all your maximum entitlement for your first payment (£409) minus any deductions for for the advance payment.

Have you reported your health condition and for a fit note from your GP? This will start the work capability assessment process off and even with your UC being reduced to zero your claim will remain open while you’re assessed for limited capability for work.

Whether you close the claim is your decision but you will need to be placed into the LCWRA group to receive any further payments and even then if you’re working full time your UC payments will be small. If you’re placed into the other group (LCW) there won’t be any payments.

If you think you qualify for LCWRA then it maybe worth continuing but that’s your choice.

Note quite what you had said, particularly with your recent 1st payment advice.
Not too worry, practice WTC calculation with new full time hours, could have been 214.94 per month.

I have an appointment this morning, non UC though possible to use time to request fit note.
Is it correct I 'll continue to work during fit note duration, what end date is used.

    thanks

Are you saying that you've been paid from your employer during your first assessment period for UC? In a previous comment you stated that you wouldn't receive any earnings during this time, which was why i advised you would receive your full maximum entitlement if there were no earnings received. My advice is correct based on the information you've given.

When you report a health condition onto your journal you also need a fit note within 7 days otherwise. If you don't get that fit note then you won't be referred for a work capabiility assessment. There's also a 3 month waiting period for the extra £343 if you're placed into the LCWRA group. Delaying that fit note will only delay the start of the 3 month wait.

Yes you can work even though you're planning on sending a fit note, your GP will decide how long the fit note will be for but you need to continue to send them without any gaps until a decision's been made on the WCA.  If placed into the LCWRA group there's no end date.

Do be aware that as previously advised the standard allowance of UC has been increased due to Covid. This is due to be removed from October this year, unless the Government decide to extend it further. From October it will be £323.70 per month, instead of £411.51.
