Thankfully this is being investigated, seems my 1st e chat csr could have and should have noticed that wtc's were closed early March.
I've this morning accepted a call, answered one or two questions.
Going forward, best case result, could mean some sort of payment being made in addition to UC payments (if there's any)
I'll know hopefully by next week at the latest.

    thanks

Other than the £500 one off payment i'm not sure what other additional payments you mean. Best case would be for them to reinstate your tax credits because it should never have ended anyway and because of this you'll be much worse off by being on UC.

wtc's wont be re instated, the possible additional payment will be calculated by paying the difference from what was wtc payments and and new any  uc payments, whatever that means, plenty of time to get a final response.

thankful at least it's being investigated.

That makes no sense because WTC and UC are 2 completely different benefits.

maybe they see it as compromise, if they prove it was their error whilst wtc's cannot be reinstated.

was scanning current account tonight, any idea what c19 support is.
I've been credited 500 pounds, this is after my initial uc advance of 400 a few weeks earlier.

    thanks

It is a one off payment due to Covid 19, people with a tax credit award as of the qualifying date (2 March 2021) are eligible for this £500 payment.

    https://revenuebenefits.org.uk/tax-credits/guidance/how-do-tax-credits-work/tax-credits-and-coronavirus/500-payment-for-working-households-on-tax-credits/

Did your claim end after that date?

thanks whilst I have complaint ongoing due to loss of wtc's recently when changing job.
That's nice though generous payment to save or pay down cards.

hope they don't recall 500, though my complaint should be answered next week.

    thanks

If your WTC claim ended after the 2nd of March that £500 is yours to keep.

    @Spoonie_Turtle

thanks my wtc's were cancelled in error mid March.
I was prepping for double whammy reductions, 20 pounds per week loss and return to full time work/wages.

i'll continue my attempts at full and final card balances, though some time yet  to end of month for 1st new job wage.

    thanks

No complaint final answer as yet.
If any UC approved, only a week or two for info.
On 27 April 2021 we will tell you how much you are going to get.
    UC award 1st May.

Hopefully this results in some incoming funds.
