NSD 13. Been on leave from FT job but caught up on PT tasks this morning and studied all afternoon then did online qualification support group this eve. Made some progress but got a bit disheartened by one section which is all about finances which is my area of weakness
Going to catch up on some TV and have an early night

@facethemusic - witch hazel is your friend to get rid of the black eye quickly. - my DS3 has come home with a swollen and bruised wrist from falling over at (big) school today but he is refusing to go to A+E for an x-ray, so we will see how he feels about it in the morning.DS2 had a hugely dramatic and traumatic Friday PE lesson ending in him watching his team mate with a broken ankle, sitting in a wheelchair, an ambulance ride, and he is due an operation on it this week. It seems that everyone at school is accident prone at the minute.Volunteered today (feeling a bit taken advantage of), dh made a lovely lunch and supper, looking forward to a 3 day weekend.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Nsd#14 still.
Took hubby to the hospital for his first dialysis at our local hospital. My plan was to walk a circuit past a nearby beach, then read my book in the car & eat my packed lunch. He ended up bring in the hospital for 5 hours. The weather was drizzly & cold, so I was freezing in the car! Lasted until 2pm, then visited mum at work to warm up in front of the heater, she made me a hot chocolate too 😊
Hubby wanted a few bits & pieces from the shops, then we arrived home to find youngest son was locked out, as eldest had gone out & didn't realise we weren't going to be home in time, middle son at college today. All OK though.
Sorted through all my knitting needles, not sure if to donate or try & sell the extra pairs. Watched a film after tea.
Grateful for - hubby's treatment, a warm heater & pickled onion ring crispsUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Right I don't have anymore NSD days to report. April Budget was broken, I had a lot more income than expected, so got a lot of stuff taken care off and a lot more money in the bank, so I will use the next couple of days to re-connect with my saver and plan for May.
The most important thing to do today is to read my water meter, before they send an estimated bill.
I am grateful for healthy food, for naughty lb having left the hips again and for friends and family just being kind and supportive, as am still feeling a bit low, lost and not sleeping well.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

NSD No 13
Booked an unexpected holiday but not paid anything yet. A little bit apprehensive, to be honest, but excited nevertheless. Must get back to some kind of normality some timeHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Still on NSD 13/16. Top-up shop today takes this week's grocery spend to £64.23 / £80.
Did my top-up in Ald! again. I had to stop myself from buying more than I needed because I kept thinking 'Oh, that's a good price!' This is the danger of me actually going to shops.
It's been a second soggy day here. And it's flattened the good mood I had from the weekend.
Grateful for the rain (!) watering my garden plants, for nice colleagues, for free courses.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸6 -
Evening all, no NSD here, paid my naughty tfl fine
also bought my car tax as that was due so the wallet has taken a bit of a hit today!
Generally not a bad day, I slept well for a change last night and my back was good this morning, work was a bit meh but am on top of things, and also managed a walk and a quick resistance band workout so all good. Also rode my bike down to the shops for some bread and protein bars. The excitement of it all! I actually rode past my neighbours stuck in traffic and felt all smug lol.
Bunny has a weepy eye so booked her in at the vet but that's not until Thursday as I'm out tomorrow for work and couldn't get her in. Although saying that, looking at her now her eye seems absolutely fine!7 -
