Food delivery yesterday so another spendy day.
Himself got his second jab yesterday. A fair way to go so the Boy drove us there. I went along for the ride and it was so nice just to get out somewhere away from the very local area.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.3 -
Still on nsd#14 as hubby bought a thermometer for the greenhouse.
Another good day, hubby had more walks out in the garden. He cooked tea too, then I washed up.
I made him some masks to wear to his hospital appointments & repaired a rip in middle son's jeans.
After lunch I weeded a long trough on top of a wall, then filled with soil at one end where there was none. Dug over another raised vegetable bed.
Grateful for hubby pottering about, helpful sons & heartfelt messages receivedUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Hello turtles. I’ve not checked in since Wednesday! Then NSD was 11/16.
I’ve been so busy, but a good busy.
Thursday I spent £7 on picnic food.
Friday went to a park for a picnic with grandparents and bought ice cream cones £8.
Saturday went to a beach for a picnic with other grandparents. And it was grocery delivery day.
Sunday we spent in the garden painting our huge fence and that was NSD 12/16.
Today is NSD 13/16. I might actually get the 16 this month!
And I got an email from HR about my request for my job grade to be reviewed. They told me it’s going to the evaluation panel next week.
Grateful for a sunny weekend, finishing painting the fence, and a confirmed date for my job review.
Now away to catch up on the thread. x

Today I am grateful for a good night's sleep, for working with some lovely kids, for an evening walk, for dh prepping tea, for all the trees sprouting their leaves.

Mum decided to go back to bed after breakfast and stayed there for most of the day so I've been peacefully pottering and got quite a lot done without over exerting myself - stop when I start puffing too much. NSD 17. I did make it to the post box and back yesterday so will venture out to Morries at some point this week (mum owes me money and I can get my puzzle book there rather than going into town).
I can do May if no-one else want to. Don't feel that I'm a shining example to anyone atm but have done 'leading from a point of weakness/ rock bottom before. Beware - it may involve lesbian vampire music.
Grateful for mum going back to bed (she's not been well for a few days but sits in the chair nodding off rather than resting properly), getting a lot done in slow easy stages, having shed plans. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
Monday- NSD 15.
Been busy at work, got soaked this afternoon and DD got flattened by a boy at school (I think over enthusiastic play rather than nastiness) and has a sore head and I think will have a black eye in the morning 😱🤕.
Grateful for remembering to take stuff out of the freezer this morning so dinner was easy, rain means I didn't have to do much watering and several frogs dealt with at work.8
