Evening Turtles 🐢
No NSD as food shop coming and also needed petrol. Bought some paint stripper as living room radiator paint is all flaking off (probably doesn't help that I put washing over it). Never used paint stripper before, does it stink to high heaven? My rabbits spend most of their time in the living room so may have to shut them out if so.
Tackled loads of my work to do list, shame my manager doesn't sign off my work for weeks (I wouldn't mind but he then has the cheek to tell me it's out of date).
Grateful for sunshine, a nice walk and getting work under control.5 -
Thursday- still on 12 NSDs, did a top up food shop, not much spent but should keep us going into next week apart from milk.
Grateful today- for an hour in the park after school with the sun shining, getting some boxes into the loft and washing drying on the line again.4 -
Today I am grateful for the freedom to work part time, for a good book, for kettle bells, for leek/cabbage/potato/bacon fritter thingy for tea, for the sewing bee.

Today was NSD9, took the kids to school, volunteered all day, by that time it was 20 minutes to the school run in reverse, so sat in the car, in the car park, and concentrated on not spending any money. It worked. I did not spend any money.Got home, took the 2 smallest (and DH) out to the little park and we played football (my b00bs hate me now) and the kids rode their bikes there and back. Step count achieved (only 10k steps but still, it is a start) and diet stuck to. Knackered now though.@Thrifty_Taylor I hope Mr T_T gets his op soon and you are all on the same piece of land once more. Stay strong.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Thank you all for your well wishes. I have GREAT news! Hubby is flying back to Orkney tomorrow afternoon & coming straight home! He's not going into our local hospital first. He isn't getting his biopsy op at the moment, it isn't essential apparently. Hubby told me tonight that when he arrived in Aberdeen, his kidneys were only 1% functioning! Thank goodness I didn't leave it any longer before calling the doctor!! He will be having regular dialysis, then a transplant at a later date.
I'm cleaning like I'm on fast forward, so he can't pick up any bugs, etc now he's on an immune system suppressor for a few weeks. Will be so good to have him home.
Grateful for hubby coming home, a 4.5 mile walk with a friend, & the children helping me with chores.
Hope you feel better soon @Toni'sfriendUse it up, wear it out

Morning what a lovely cold sunshine this morning. @Thrifty_Taylor what good news, but still sightly worrying I should think. @f0xh0les it sounds like you have mastered your school runs? Or is it just that life gets a bit nicer when it's not 0 degrees sleet :-) Had a few minutes free at the ent of the afternoon yesterday and had tea with friend in garden, what a lovely visit. But I am clearly obsessed with my plants - so time to start talking to people instead!
Have put all of my extra payments in my savings, paid for ds hair, and will go and get a quote on fixing the last cogs on my bike from when it broke 18 months ago. I also what to upgrade some of the gear shifters, but all in time.
I have somehow managed 9 NSD days might manage a couple more, but will have to go shopping later.
Have al lovely Friday everybody.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
