NST April 2021: Diamonds and Daisies

This morning  am grateful for having a lie in - till 7, and for working from home for most of the day. And I am hoping I won't need to spend much today it has been a mad spendy month, mostly fixing things like the car - and my poor little dog - I hope she is getting better now. Oldest is now proof reading dissertation, so now very close to done with his uni days. He is going back to uni house, so won't see him for a while after today. A bit sad really.
I feel a bit lost, keep missing deadlines and feel very unfocussed. I will try to read up on thread later. 
Grateful I got a run done last night before bed, haven't been out since Saturday.

I love this @mothernerd...seems sassy to me! Great to see you reconnecting with the challenge, we are half-way through and I need to return to it as well!

So yesterday was NSD 8, made it halfway, at the halfway point of the challenge. Phew. Definitely been getting the healthy eating on, and the moving body, been for a walk every day. Helps with noticing that spring is springing!

Delights and gratitudes for yesterday: 
- beautiful evening walk, the sunlight was just gorgeous.
- finishing a report that was hanging over me
- saw some mistletoe growing in a tree

Today should be NSD 8/16. 

I’ll be taking a walk later to pick up my prescription and get some sun on my face.

I’ll be doing a lot of washings today. One of DS’s duvet sets is already in the wash, I’ll get the other set, plus duvet in after that’s done. 

I really wanted to get him out of bedtime nappies but he doesn’t seem ready. Thinking we should go back to using nighttime nappies and try again in a few months. Any mother turtles got advice?

Grateful to wake up to a sunny day, having tea in bed, and some turtle posts to read.

Morning All, a sunny one here in Orkney. Had some great news yesterday, hubby was moved from intensive care to another ward 😊 he has his own room, so hopefully he'll get some sleep now it's a but quieter!
Grateful for hubby being out of ICU, a sunny day, a walk to the village with my Mum

I'd go back to nappies until he is having more dry nappies in the morning than wet ones (say 5/ week) not sure how old he is? Most kids are dry in the day way before night. Definitely at least one of my 4 was in night time nappies when they started school. Possibly another one for a couple of terms, too x

ldee - I only have 1 child who said that she wanted to not wear a nappy at night and sleep naked (like daddy!!!). Job done! Possibly only 1 or 2 accidents. I was sooooo lucky!

I didn't comment because it's a long time ago but I just had a sudden flashback of finding DS2 in the bathroom determinedly undoing the night time nappy I had just put on him - that's the child telling you when he's ready, hey.

Hi turtles I’ve been productive today as had some class cancellations so managed to tie up a lot of loose ends and tick things off the list which I feel good about.

Did 50min on the static bike, read some of my book(s) I have been so good with my eating this week and no constant snacking. Will try to keep it up over the weekend and not spend money unnecessarily either... get myself into the right frame of mind for the week ahead.

Grateful for an interesting podcast with an author I like talking about his new book, for more nice feedback from students, for all the free time I’ve had today to potter and ponder as well as be productive.
