Is this the same Grange Avenue in Reading that was in the newspapers a few years ago as being the most dangerous road of the city to live on? Sorry can't post link but article starts includes this quote:
If you’re thinking of living on Grange Avenue, you may want to think again.
Last year, a whopping 28 crimes were recorded on the notorious road. From arson to violent and sexual offence, Grange Avenue came out above the rest as East Reading’s most perilous street.
Hannah Gay, who is now in her fourth year, lived on Grange Avenue, and was well aware of the drug problems on the street. She said: “One guy, nicknamed The Business Man because he drove a nice car, was always around selling drugs.”
In May 2013, the extent of the drug problems on the street was realised as officers raided 39-year-old, Mark Robinson’s Grange Avenue house. They found large amounts of drugs, including class A heroin and cocaine, as well as 17 mobile phones and a significant amount of money.

If so, did you not investigate before purchasing the crime rate and number of HMOs on this street?

That's a bit harsh IMO. I lived in Reading for the best part of 35 years and I wouldn't say Grange Avenue was a particularly ropey place to live. I can certainly think of streets in Reading I'd be less inclined to live in and indeed, I have a friend who has lived in Grange Avenue (quite happily) for many years.

Well perhaps the area has improved since we were in Reading, when it had a reputation as a rough place with lots of student HMOs which are not exactly known for being peaceful and considerate neighbours. And I recall there was a gangland shooting there sometime in the early 2010s which was very alarming.
DETECTIVES say the victim of a gangland-style late-night shooting was deliberately targeted.
The 25-year-old Reading man was shot in the legs, and hit once in the arm, at the junction of Wokingham Road and Grange Avenue, east Reading, on Sunday night.

Witnesses said he was driven the short distance to Royal Berkshire Hospital by friends at 11.15pm and police later cordoned off the scene as officers carried out a fingertip search on Monday morning.

Emma Eastham, a 19-year-old Reading University student from Grange Avenue, said: "I was in my room and heard these two or three bangs. I thought it must be firecrackers but then there were two or three more shots. We looked out and there was blood all over the road.

Nonetheless, hope that the OP can get some action taken against the selfish neighbours who are causing all the disturbance.
