Tiny update - vendors solicitor has made contact with EA advising that they're chasing the lender, but no expected timescale.
Ah what a nightmare for you. Are you hanging on for some news or planning to start looking elsewhere? Oh, did Aldermore confirm anything to you when funds had been requested? Seen a few people say lender had confirmed funds requested and just wondering.
Hanging on for news, we're away next week Mon - Fri, so technically buys us another week if its not resolved this week. Trying to focus on the positives of being rent and mortgage free for a week 😅
I got no notification, I emailed my solicitor the week before completion was scheduled to confirm they'd been requested and they had requested they were released for 18/06 the same day the date was agreed.. and here I am 4 days later 😅🙈 x
I'm so sorry you're going through this. I can't even get a response from my solicitor. Must be time for a phone call 🤣 I just want to know if the enquiries have been answered!
Yeah I would 100% be calling daily, there's no excuse for ignorance! X
I called twice, couldn't get through. Will try again in a bit. Its a joke. These enquiries have been outstanding for at least 3 weeks if not longer. We are so close but still no end date!
With no chain, it may just fly through next week or something! Who knows!

My solicitor has requested a detailed update before the end of the day, so ive given him a break of my two hourly emails and will chase again just after 4 😅

Also got a welcome call from aldermore asking how my move went 🤣 talk about rubbing salt in a wound!
Oh that's awful! Surely they know you had to send funds back 🙈 bless you. I just want an end in sight, is that too much too ask after 4 months?!

Another small update, my solicitor has forwarded me the email chain of them chasing, with very few acknowledgements from the vendors solicitor.
The application is with HM Land Registry, debter is waiting for it to be passed on, my solicitor has questioned if its a charging order it would be in the best interest of the debtor to remove the application and settle payment, thats the last email.

None of it makes much sense to me! But solicitor has advised to action the back up plan as there is no actual update or timescale 🤦‍♀️

Same here! Our offer was accepted 8th March, I think we'll be lucky to be in by 8th July! X

I had an email from the EA saying nothing new today but leave it with her. So hopefully tomorrow she will chase both ends and I will attempt to call my solicitor again tomorrow afternoon if I haven't heard anything. Time is ticking along, she needs 5-7 days notice to request funds so by my working out that gives us a week to finalise everything and sort buildings insurance and send funds for deposit over so she can request funds from Aldermore next Wednesday to complete by the 9th! I only just realised how tight that timescale is getting. Gah!

The 9th was the date I suggested last week when my solicitor asked if we had a date in mind. Its also the only day off me and my partner have together as I start back at work this week! So it just seemed perfect. Now I don't think we will make it x

Just keep pushing, i would be calling more regularly if they're not responding to emails etc. Fingers crossed you'll get an update this week, seems to have been going on forever doesn't it! X
