Just had an email to say our offer conditions have been met and funds will be released 1st July. Sent our deposit to the solicitor yesterday, so all looks good for the July2nd move date! Can't quite believe it as only a month ago we were really looking down the barrel of not having anywhere to live (landlords moving back into our current house, rental market empty of family homes and mortgage offer pending and feeling a bit dodgy). This forum has been a great place to drop into and share stories. Hope everyone elses process is going well!0

our solicitor has sent back the documents as there was spelling errors on our names!🙄 so more waiting for us!🙈 nowhere near talking dates….this conveyancing part is the most frustrating part of the process so far that’s for sure!
We aren’t part of the race to beat stamp duty deadline, but we’ve certainly been put to the back of the queue!🤷♀️ Hopefully next week we will see faster movement!😁😁

The estate agent handling the sale has been amazing, I get most of my info from him lol haven't heard from solicitor yet today, will call this afternoon. Definitely feel like we weren't a priority as stamp duty doesn't apply to us 🤣mandycurl said:

Yes an email from Aldermore to our solicitor, who forwarded to us. We've not had any direct comms with Aldermore, just the broker and then the solicitor. It was just a day after the solicitor sent a request for the funds to be sent on July 1st.CLJ2986 said:

How long did people wait once at ready for offer stage? Our application tracking has gone from valuation assessed to ready for offer but no further updates since0

Well we've sogmed contracts, mortgage deed and TR1 form but all radio silence again! I'm hoping once stamp duty ends today our solicitor will be less pressured and be looking at our case. Ooh same as me! I was meant to get a call from my solicitor today but its 3pm now so it's looking unlikely that the call is coming.... I'll be calling back tomorrow. We should be at the point of sending deposit and securing buildings insurance ready to exchange. Fingers crossed for us both completing on 9th!!Reddington85 said:
