Oh no! We've just had the completion statement come through and I've sent over mu deposit so it's looking good. I'd call your solicitor tomorrow and get pushing, my EA has been amazing for that!Reddington85 said:
Had the absolute disaster of my removal firm pulling out (they have 3 confirmed bookings!)CLJ2986 said:
Ooh same as me! I was meant to get a call from my solicitor today but its 3pm now so it's looking unlikely that the call is coming.... I'll be calling back tomorrow. We should be at the point of sending deposit and securing buildings insurance ready to exchange. Fingers crossed for us both completing on 9th!!Reddington85 said:
Well we've sogmed contracts, mortgage deed and TR1 form but all radio silence again! I'm hoping once stamp duty ends today our solicitor will be less pressured and be looking at our case. Everyone is ready to move!CLJ2986 said:How's everyone getting along now? Hope some of you waiting have had some news today! I'm hoping to send our deposit tomorrow 🤞
Targetting the 9th July - have already gone ahead and arranged a few things that can be cancelled or delayed (removcals etc)
Now scrambling to find another. A bit frustrated as both estate agents are saying vendor and buyer are ready and I've had no update!0 -

That’s great to hear! Did you have to extend your mortgage offer at all? Our house won’t be ready untill sep/Oct so I’m thinking we’ll possibly need to extend the mortgage offer just wondering if it’s a simple task or notCLJ2986 said:

After nearly 5 months we are completing next week 🙂🙂0 -
No, ours expires end of July, I told the EA that we were completing before then if I had to camp out at their offices to do it 😅 he's been great though, will definitely be sending him a thank you card, he's not even *my* estate agent technically 😅 just waiting for the phone call to exchange now! Hopefully tomorrow 🤞 I think @JMcc123 had to extend though, so might be able to answer that. Also is there any news @JMcc123????srh88 said:

Hey, sorry we've been away at Haven and typical caravan style, absolutely no signal!
Great news on the completion dates and offers!
Absolutely losing my mind here, I've chased my solicitor daily and Absolutely no timescale been given 😭 I asked for a worst case scenario time and my solicitor can't even advise on that. Offer was due to expire 29th June, but has now been extended til the end of this month. I just needed to sent my most recent pay slip, so fairly simple!
Currently living in my mums spare room with my soon to be four year old surrounded by boxes, I know it could be worse, but this is a living nightmare for me! I love my mum but God I miss our routine and time alone, just feel like a failure because I'm not even able yo provide my son a place to call home atm 🤦♀️😭
EA still hasn't had a response from the vendor, but ive sent an email to EA to forward onto vendor pleading with her to chase. The house is empty so surely she wants whatever money is left!
Looks like her solicitor has messed up, she should've called the debtor to just arrange payment upon completion, but has instead sent an AN1 application form which goes to the debtors solicitor to review, then onto land registry, so a much longer process 🤦♀️ just hoping the seller starts chasing her solicitors and the debtor to speed it up.
