Ah thank you! My mind is made up, I'm calling them after 1pm tomorrow for an update. I've made it clear we wanted this to go as quickly as we can so asking for an idea of where we're at isn't unreasonable 🤣 I chickened out of handing in my rental notice on the 14th, we have nowhere to stay if we don't complete in time. We decided paying an extra month's rent was preferable to having to try and fit 5 kids into my mums 2 bed 🤣🤣🤣 and thanks again for this thread, it's kept me sane-ish!0

This might be a stupid question but as a private renter can I hand my notice in at any point of the month? And then LL would work out what’s oweing? So if I gave 4 weeks notice 2 weeks after last monthly payment I would only owe 2 weeks on my next payment? I’m clueless!🤷♀️From our perspective we chased solicitor yesterday and all our searches are back - however it was concerning when they said they were waiting for our mortgage offer which we gave them nearly 3 weeks ago ‘Ah yes...I can see it on your file now’🤦♀️.
I missed a call from EA today in work and automatically thought the worst thinking they’d changed their minds about selling - rang back and it was just them wanting an update!! Head is fried!🤣
Fingers crossed for you guys this week - I know I’m a bit behind most of you so avidly checking your posts!👍🏻0 -

I need to sign and return a declaration that I've paid all debts off, so I've requested this and they've just said it'll be sent over in due course, which is so annoying, as I can only access a printer at weekends, so if they send it on a random Monday it'll delay things a week, whereas if they send it now I can print it Saturday and get it back to them by Monday, which I've explained, but no response.
I just want a date, the seller can't commit to rent somewhere until we've exchanged. I just don't know how I can put pressure on them to speed things up! x0 -
Yep, I have an online tracker that hasn't been updated since 25th April. I don't think they bother doing anything with it until I call to annoy them. I was gonna wait til 1pm but I'm already impatient, thinking if I call now they might actually look at the file this afternoon 🤣0

I gave them a call, apparently they've received all the enquiries now and my file is sitting on my solicitors desk for her to review... hopefully that means we are getting close!0

I've just emailed again, I think I'm going to chase every 2 days as I can't see why it's taking so long. i've had no copies of searches or anything either, so no idea what the enquiries are xxx0
