I’m privately renting too. At what point in the process do you know when to hand your notice in? Is it I’m assuming after exchange? My LL has arranged for viewings this Sunday as I estimated July time.🤷♀️ Can’t blame them for lining up tenants - I’ve worked out I’ve paid £80,000 in the last 10 years!!🙈🙈0

It's mental when you work out how much you pay doesn't it! You've probably pretty much paid off their full mortgage alone!!mandycurl said:I’m privately renting too. I need to give notice by 27th May, so I'm just going to pester until then :') x0 -
I'm renting through an estate agent, should I give them a heads up that we're going?!0

I've just chased my EA again (I'd asked them to contact the vendor for an idea of when they are hopeful to move, as they had done the same with me) and the seller has not responded to calls, voicemails and emails, they've been chasing since last Wednesday so I'm a bit concerned by this
What if she changes her mind?! Does this happen?! x 0 -
It does happen unfortunately, until contracts are exchanged either one can pull out at anytime, but I'm sure that's not the case here! There could be a number of reasons she hasn't yet responded, don't panic. You should come join the waiting to exchange thread on the house buying forum, so much helpful.advice although a lot of scary stories about the things that can go wrong!0

🤣🤣🤣 yeah my broker has sorted my buildings and contents and life insurance for me, I'll look around more for competitive prices next year, at the moment it's just another tick and a couple less things to worry about it! XCLJ2986 said:
