Aldermore - Process

Ah i see, one of the conditions one my offer states about the solicitor sending them proof my deposit is from previous equity. I haven't heard anything about where I'm at though. I know the searches are all back but that's it!

I'd probably ask your solicitors and get it sorted ASAP. I rushed around trying to sort it yesterday when it should have been sorted weeks ago!

They already have all the proof, but they don't answer an email! Thinking I should call, tomorrow will be a week since I've heard anything. Does the ea know anything? Is it worth me emailing him and asking if he knows where we're at 🤣🤣🤣 I hate not knowing!!

If they have the proof then they will just send it to the lender when they request the funds. Id ring everybody haha. I left everyone alone for a week or so and then went in on them with the chasing. Soon sped everything up!

Lol I just never know what to say to them! Just "how's it going?" Seems a bit stupid lol after I got my offer the solicitor said 14th June was doable to complete but I haven't had the contracts to sign or anything! Feel so in the dark 🤣

Just ask if they can update you on where you are at now in the process and if you are still on track to complete on the 14th of June as previously discussed.

Haha thats literally what I say to them! They know what your ringing for. First 1 or 2 calls I apologised but now I'm like tell me everythinggggg! Call them and let us know what they say haha. They'll expect you to call so don't be worried about nagging! X

Here is our Aldermore Process:

• 9th April - Mortgage Application
• 13th April - Valuation Instructed
• 20th April - Valuation Completed
• 22nd April - Aldermore called by partner to check furlough status and return to work
• 23rd April - Offer received

Now, we are hoping to complete THIS FRIDAY! We are awaiting one more local authority search to come back. My question is... How long do Aldermore take to release funds? Will they do any more checks before they do? I have read somewhere that they call you to discuss first payment and a general welcome to Aldermore call (post was from 2014 though). Ahh I am new to this so any information would be handy!!! Thanks!

My funds got requested yesterday for Friday! Don't think they've done any other checks. I've been checking Experian and there's nothing else on there yet x

This is my worry, that they'll get annoyed. I rang last week to ask about the searches as I'd been told by email one was due back 18th May  but online said all recieved. An hour later all the search results were emailed to me! I don't know whether to give them a full week and ring Monday or to call and chase tomorrow... I don't remember being like this last time lol but then this time we just desperately want to get moved. Ooh please let us know when your first payment is due too, that's one I can't budget for right now cause I'm not sure when they take it, and on mat leave every penny counts haha I put the 1st of the month, just not sure if completion mid-june would mean 1st July or 1st August!

Mine haven't been annoyed with me so far if that helps? I just think it's the done thing. I chased quickly because I handed our notice in on our rental and had to be out by end of May, and I was getting quite nervous. Yeah I want to know this aswell haha. I might give them a call on Friday when we exchange to find out. I haven't had a welcome call or anything so I'll ring them and update you x
