Hopefully, I've submitted a letter from my employed stating I return in August on my previous salary so can't see an issue really with their side. I keep reading other stories and I honestly can't even see how my credit rating is that terrible either but I can't get my hopes up 🤣

Did they give you an idea of times?
I feel the exact same 🤣 my credit score before all the checks was 920! No failed payments and total outstanding debts of less than £2k! I honestly think its because they're more likely to listen to reason, for me my childcare ending and for you your mat leave ending. They're supposed to see more than just the numbers!

Yes, around 21 days for all the searches to be complete, so the keep the little one in nursery a bit longer I'm going to HOPE to complete 18th June, gives just over a week before the mortgage offer expires and I'll be back and forth between here and there the following week so he'll have a couple of months off, but not too much longer than the 6 week holidays! I'm guessing you're planning to be fully in and settled before returning to work in August! X

Yep, I know its not great but its not as bad as some people's I've seen get accepted! I've got a history of missed payments in 2019 and payday loans up to nov 2019. So over 12 months of steady credit management and zero missed payments. Never had a default or ccj or anything. The messy part is easily explained by marriage breakdown and going to one income without warning I know the score itself is meaning less as I read it all the time but its 9 points from good 🤣🤣🤣 all these little things I remind myself of to try and stay hopeful. I'd love to be moved by August, aiming for May at the moment, my rental runs from 15th to 14th of month, so hoping to exchange before the 14th of May, gives us 4 weeks to complete and get moved before we would need to hand in rental keys. That's in an ideal world lol mortgage first 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good luck with moving, I hope all your conveyancing runs smoothly! Wonder how the other guys on here are getting on, some might be near completion by now

Ooh update from me, emailed my broker this morning  she's replied to say that Aldermore have looked at our case, came back with lots of the same questions that have already been answered, requested another document but they have instructed the valuation which they didn't do last time!

Amazing news! Definitely got to be a positive! My valuation was done the day after it was sent for valuation, so hopefully you'll hear something next week :) x

Well I already emailed my estate agents to ask but they haven't been told anything yet. Just more waiting lol although that's quick considering they only resubmitted it last Thursday! Just hoping the valuation is a good sign as they definitely didn't do this last time 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

I would definitely see it as a good thing, they seem to do most of the underwrite pre valuation 🤞🤞🤞 x

Gosh I hope so. I never heard back from the Estate Agents so I don't know if the val is booked or if ots a desktop job... how long after the valuation did you get your offer? My broker didn't say it was offered subject to valuation so that makes me nervous 😬

Definitely a good sign from my experience, I had my valuation the week after we submitted all the docs and the offer the day after. Sounds like your going in the right direction now. Ours happened so fast that I was worried but I think when they have all your info, and are happy there's not much left to do. We're going through conveyancing bit at the min and I'm terrified to even look at my credit card in case they do another final check ha x

Haha I know! My boyfriend asked me if he could buy some t-shirts the other day hahaha! It shouldn't be, and they might not even check but I don't want to take the chance. I don't know to be honest. I've left it with the solicitor. Latest I heard was he's doing the draft contract and searches have been requested.. does that mean we're close do you know? How are you doing with it, are you close? X

    P.s he bought the t-shirts!
