Chrisv said:Thanks Richchad, I've tried again but I'm still getting 2 of the "1 of 1" and no "1 of 2". Not sure why - I'll have to wait for the transfer pack arriving.Oh I have just double checked the link and you are right, I have amended the link to give you the three forms required.I am sorry, I was just trying to be helpful and now wish I hadn't.... oh well.... but they are correct forms now.

Sometimes if companies make you jump through hoops to get their products you should really ask yourself if it`s worth the hassle.0

I applied to open my Nationwide ISA, along with the ISA transfer application, on 23 March. Still no sign of the new account on my online banking. Applied for the new Yorkshire Building Society Loyalty Six Access ISA earlier this week (another loyalty product only available to existing members), and the transferred ISA funds were in my new ISA 2 days later! So Yorkshire seem to be much more efficient at this than Nationwide are.
One thing I don't think I've seen mentioned here, but which somewhat softens the blow of Nationwide's slowness, is that they backdate the interest on ISA transfers to the date they receive the transfer application. So although it is frustrating how slow they are, it is actually financially beneficial, as you are earning interest on the transferred money from both the old provider and Nationwide simultaneously!1 -
yes that is true ! well, one exception - if you tick tje box that means wait until maturity of my old isa you don't get the intetest0

I applied on 1st April and chose to fund via a transfer from a Sainsburys Cash ISA from a previous tax year. New ISA start date is down as 7th April and funds were showing as transferred on 9th April. Sainsburys were on their transfer providers list, so no paper forms needed.
Considering 4 out of those 8 days were non-working days (Easter weekend), that's one of the quickest ISA transfers I've experienced.

I applied for an account yesterday (11th April). As of today (12th), I've not had an email to confirm the application yet. I'm transferring from Virgin Money.
With other accounts/institutions, normally I would get an email straight away to confirm the application. I can't even remember if there was a reference number for this application. I just remember at the end of all the screens I just got to a dead page. There were no links to go back to my account or to finish/complete the application. I ended up just having to close the window.0 -
I never got an email - I got a letter a week later confirming they had requested my transfer which quoted an account number.Baoser said:I applied for an account yesterday (11th April). As of today (12th), I've not had an email to confirm the application yet. I'm transferring from Virgin Money.

So don't worry if you haven't had an email - as you probably won't be getting one!0 -
No email here either, but I did get a reference number at the end of the transfer application process and received a physical letter from Nationwide today acknowledging the transfer request, so it seems their paper correspondence is a good few days behind as the new account appeared in my online banking app a few days ago.Baoser said:I applied for an account yesterday (11th April). just a heads up - if you get a text from nwide saying there was a problem transferring your isa from virgin money the solution is to call the number in the text and tell them the provider is yorkshire bank not virgin money0
