No there is no chain, I am currently renting and my seller used to rent the property but it's been empty since January. So I managed to get a lower offer accepted because I was a good prospective buyer (the EA was really good in my opinion), but they put the condition to keep the property on the market....... so I'm starting to be really nervous lately and I expect any day to receive the call that they've received another offer!

Omg that’s too stressful! Along with this wait that’s crazy. The market is moving so fast too. I feel for you! Have a massive glass of wine tonight lol I’ve been staring at the champagne waiting for the formal offer to be in our hands to open it. Every Friday I think.... PLEASE. Another week to go hopefully for both of us!

But doesn't it feel sooooooo much longer?! 😩🙈 I'm just glad we are all finally getting somewhere. 

No chain is a real big bonus I think. We are in the middle but luckily its not too big... first time buyer is buying ours, and our seller is buying a new build. So we are really just waiting for her house to be built and then it's all go I hope!

I’ve got my mortgage offer just now, in the post!!!!! Such a nice surprise!!!! They didn’t send any email or inform my mortgage advisor, as yesterday they said they would expect to know something next week! It was issued yesterday and posted first class! I’m so excited! Valuation was done only 2 days ago. I really hope you also get news within a matter of a couple of days Max!!!

Quick question, did you have to sign for the letter? We have a red card in our postbox as we’ve missed a A4 letter that didn’t fit in our box sent yesterday special delivery... maybe im just wishful thinking lol

No but our valuation isn't until tomorrow, so hoping to hear something early next week 🤞 I think the red card sounds very promising!! Can you call your broker and see if he has had it through email?
