New day, new wait! Have you guys agreed your exchange/completion dates yet? I'm still waiting to receive the contract from my solicitor. I've just written her an email asking for updates and if she knew when I should receive the contract in the post. I'm getting impatient once again, and it just dawned on me that in the next couple of weeks my landlord will reach out to me to discuss the renewal of my tenancy agreement, and I didn't want to tell him we are leaving until exchange had happened!Debt free journey started 30/08/2023:

I contacted them today and the reply was "your file is still under review however we should be in touch this week with a full update". They told me a few weeks ago that all enquiries had been returned with satisfactory answers, and they were only waiting for my mortgage offer, so I'm really annoyed it's now taking so long to send me the contract and to finally get in touch with the seller to agree dates! It looks to me like they hadn't even started drafting the contract until they received the mortgage offer in the post!! After 3 months one would have thought they had plenty of time to do that!

Oh no we are a long while away from any further update now. Our vendors house is being built. Her builders are still saying end of July time for the house to be completed, but we'll get 4 weeks notice of the actual date. So hoping for some dates by the end of June.
Just a waiting game now for us! Hope you both get completed by May 31st 🤞🤞🤞1 -

I've received an update from the solicitor. She says they've sent the contract to sign in the post (at least something good!), but that there are still 3 outstanding enquiries I was not aware about. She said she's chased the seller's solicitor about that. One is about an internal wall that was removed 20 years ago. One is requesting to send us a share certificate and stock transfer (the flat is a share of freehold) and one is about a LPE1 from the management company (no idea what this is, I'll google it shortly).
I'm a bit gutted as I thought it was just a matter of agreeing dates now, but it seems there's still some details holding it up. I will probably call the agent tomorrow to let her know, so she can also chase the seller's solicitor. At least I know that the seller is as keen as me to complete, as the flat has been empty since before I put the offer in January.Debt free journey started 30/08/2023:
