Hi. Thank you for you comment. We wouldn’t mind at all if they just ask us politely. Also, as ive said their space is just beside ours but they’ve been using ours all day/night long whilst their space is free. Also, there are plenty of visitors and unallocated parking space in our street and althroughout the development. Why be disrespectful and use someoneelse’s?2

Edit: Since you can't use your own ...4 -
I'm sure some of the people here would think differently if others were using their property without permission!I think it's outrageous that the neighbour thinks they can just use the space because it's empty. So any visitors/delivery drivers the OP has are inconvenienced?Do as others have suggested and fit a folding post to stop anyone parking on your space (it will also act as a security device if/when you get a car.10

People get worked up over the most bizarre things.
When you get a car, worry about it then. Until that time comes, this is just pettiness.23 -

So if someone came into your house and used your guest room without permission it would be find until you needed to use it again?
Obviously an extreme example but it's the same principle or a more similar example is someone coming in and using your garden when your not in it, would that also be fine with you?11 -

Look I'm not saying the neighbours are totally innocent here - they should have asked - but likewise I don't see why this is an issue which can't be solved by a simple chat as opposed to some of the ludicrous passive aggressive suggestions I've seen here, like traffic cones and wheelie bins! This is how neighbour disputes escalate unnecessarily, because for some odd reason nobody wants to talk to their neighbour.
IF they talk to their neighbour and it isn't resolved amicably, then there's grounds to get annoyed. Until then, tell the neighbour yours buying a car soon and want your space back, particularly now with restrictions being relaxed and you may want it for visitors. Anything else you do is an unwarranted escalation which will do nothing but create bad blood.2 -

So what makes the garden "in your property" but the space not?
Would you be happy with someone parking on your driveway?
I was under the impression the OP has spoken to their neighbors about this but they have decided to start parking their again. I do agree it would be pretty silly if they haven't spoke to them at all about this.1 -

By using it without the OP's permission they're talking away the flexible use of the space for visitors or deliveries. I have neighbours parking up against my garage all the time despite the signs and dropped kerb. I can't park a car in the garage so I don't tend to kick off when they do; however on a number of occasions I've been unable to open my garage door property because someone has parked up against it. I'm happy to let people park there if they ask because then I know who to call on if I need access. When someone parks there without telling me I don't know who to ask to move it when I need access and it's caused problems several times when I've had tradespeople around to do work in my garage.
