Allocated parking. Neighbour’s been using our parking space

  • I am in a similar situation as the OP. I have 2 allocated parking spaces, but my two are parked a few doors up. I can see who parks there. Because my two spaces are directly in front of their home and their allocated two spaces are next to mine (further up from their front door), this means that they use mine instead of their own, because mine are closest to their front door.

It is irritating, because I don't drive and neither do they. So when their visitors come, they park in mine. I have talked to them neigh on two years ago, has been hit and miss with their visitors using my spaces. But, another word in their ear is due once again.

I pay good money to live here with the added bonus of two car parking spaces for MY visitors. So, why should other people be greedy by having four car parking spaces to themselves, all because they cannot mention to their visitors which two belong to them.

Where I live, when estate was neigh on being finished, they should of marked the car park bays with the house numbers in which they belong to.

If everyone was on the same page, with regards to parking then it would be a better world we all live in.

If everyone was on the same page with who parks where, then it would be easier all round.

If people want to park in MY two spaces (other than my visitors), then they should have common sense to ask. I have had words with them in the past, but looks like a friendly reminder is past due.

I live on a new build estate, in reality, they should of marked every bay with the house number in which they belong to.
