Flat purchase sounds like it is progressing well. You sound very organised.

  • It sure is, as far as I know anyway.

Still feel pretty clueless at all of this.
  • Got a quote for a removal, now bear in mind it is furniture from one bedroom,a couple of TV's, a TV unit, washing machine and a few bags and boxes - £360! Told them just to leave it.

Got another quote - £120! Will get that booked later on just need to confirm with the BF before I sort it.
£120 is a bargain price for the removal and I think it will be well spent as it will take some of the stress out of your move.  We have a 3 bed 3 storey home and our quotes have been between £650-780 - but can't book any until we know the date and who is free to do it for us.  It's a price I'm happy to pay as my husband gets quite stressed.

  • Oh it's defo worth it.

I hate moving without any help or just relying on friends and family to help cos they always let you down!
  • So I survived a full day on my diet - whoop whoop!! Proud of myself.

Stayed with the BF last night and usually get a takeaway, have some drinks or have snacks in for when we watch a film or something. Never ate a thing and just drank water. Had black coffee and water this morning and now I'm home making my Exante beef and black bean pot!

Be seeing him again tomorrow and he is cooking me a curry so I'll be 100% today then just have porridge tomorrow before I meet him.

It's so hard being in a new relationship and trying to save money and lose weight  :D

You'll be doing fabulously if you do either one or the other so to conquer both is an outstanding achievement! :)

  • That's great going :)

  • I've been a hell of a chunk for years but time to change that.

I'm sick of being held back and self conscious about my size and I only have myself to blame for it.

Solicitor has confirmed the screenshots I sent her of my deposit savings are acceptable to only thing left is an appointment with her tomorrow to sign all the paperwork then get the keys on the 26th!!
  • Paperwork signed and money transferred! It's starting to feel real now.
