Hey LMD, I'm not sure how quickly he'll be able to get it done but I have the guys coming to collect the furniture on the 2nd anyway so won't be able to move in until that date.
It will drag in but Ill be busy with moving some bits and bobs that I can myself, working and just popping in an out of the flat randomly to look around in wonder and be like - this is actually MINE!1 -

Mortgage has now updated on my bank app so I can now see the balance including interest. Is it sad that I am looking forward to seeing these numbers change.
I'm probably not as organised as I need to be but I'm not moving until next Friday so I have time, don't have a lot to move anyway so it will all be fine.0 -

So the peeps that sold me the flat aren't moving out until lunch time tomorrow so will be afternoon by the time I get the keys.
Ideally I wanted to get in and strip off the wallpaper before I pick up the BF from work at 8pm but doubt that is going to happen now. Well in saying that it might. I need to check if all the walls need stripped or just the feature walls?! I'm hoping its just the feature walls cos will save me so much time!

Just having coffee and ordering brekkie - naughty I know but I'm gonna be busy all day so gonna pig out on McDonalds and that will be me till dinner time probably.
I've dug out the 2 wallpaper steam strippers, wall paper scrapers and ladders out of my mums hall cupboard. Just gonna watch Jeremy Vine till 10am, pack till 12pm, shower and then hopefully get the call to go get my keys for around 1pm or 2pm at the latest.
Just want to get in there now.0
