Thank you! Solicitor said everything is going exactly as it should so I'm hoping it all goes through without a hitch.

8 days until I get my keys and 15 days until I move! So excited. 

Oh had an email from Admiral to say my renewal payment was declined - my SBCC expired in February so that will be the reason why, will need to call them and sort that out today.

So just had a look at the bank account and its not as healthy as I wanted it to be at this point. This is mainly because I've just had to fork out £560.00 on car repairs and £238.73 on car insurance - ouch!

So at the moment I have £600.00 in my account and I need to keep that because I need to pay my uncle to paint and decorate the new flat. Not sure how much this is going to cost cos I need to wait till I get the keys so he can have a look and give me a price. 

Also need to pay £120.00 for the guys to come and move the furniture for us.

I really hope that £600.00 will cover both but honestly I have no clue   

I'll have been paid again by the time I move so I'll give another update then when all the bills are sorted for the month.

7 days until we get the keys and 14 days until we move in!!

Getting so close now.

Need to start packing and getting organised.

Hopefully your uncle will happy a reasonable family discount and do you a deal  

Do you need to pay the removal firm in advance? Think the ones I have been quoted for only wanted a small deposit and then the remainder the day before removal.

The removal guys just want paid on the day. 

4 days to go till I can collect my keys! Can't believe its this week!

Just catching up, I've had a busy few days. I hope that everything goes OK, do you think your uncle will get the decorating completed early and you can move in any quicker at all? It will be the longest week of all time if you're waiting to move in
