Ah that’s great then, sounds like you’re well planned out and it’s achievable x
Enjoy walkies on Friday, it will be raining here so my pooch will not be happy being taken out haha

Well first walkies went okay, I think.
I've never had a dog before so I am sure this is normal but you can let me know your take on it.
So he is still very wary of people and wants to run as soon as any other dogs come near him. He runs then comes back over then runs then comes back.
This tells me that he is wary and cautious but not scared so I'm just gonna give him time to get used to the world around him and let him settle into it.
He doesn't really listen much when we are out and most of the time he is not interested at all in treats but I think everything is just very overwhelming for him so I'm not overly worried about it at this stage.
Think I am going to look for a puppy training class near me though cos I would rather get some good hints and tips and feel like it would be good for his socialisation.
Just working over the finances today.
I'm going in for my op on Friday morning so need to make sure I have money for taxis there and back a few times this month cos I am not allowed to drive for a bit.

I've been watching so many YouTube videos - do you have any suggestions cos there are so many!
Just back another walk and he met 2 german shepards - by the end of the walk he wanted to go home with them.

No specific suggestions I'm afraid. I have enrolled our dog in classes, he's not a puppy but he was 2 when we got him earlier in the year and whilst on the whole he is well behaved, his recall isn't great so I would like to get to a point where I can confidently let him off the lead.
Sounds like he's a lovely sociable pup and already finding his confidence

Aw he really is and anytime anyone see's him they say he's really great for his age on the lead and when I ask him to set so they can pet him.
I mean he does jump all over people but he will sit when I ask him after a while.
What I want is for him to sit straight away so that people can pet him cos he is gonna be a good size and I don't want him flattening people in the street cos he wants a cuddle.
I think that is the best thing to do. I'm gonna look into it too. Want him to be able to run about and have the best time but to know when to come back to me.
