  • Oh and I dropped off my H2B ISA closing statement so I'll hopefully get a request to sign my paperwork this week or early next week.
  • I can't wait ti move so that I can be fully responsible for my own house, how I clean it, what products I use and where I keep stuff.
I was exactly the same when I first moved out, it didn't stop my ex's mum meddling every time she visited though :/    You will love it, are you a Hincher or a TOMMer?
It's all gone quiet on our house move, understandably so because it will take time for the searches but I'm so excited I'm feeling really impatient.  Had our last removals visit yesterday so should get the last quote (of 5) today at some point... We are definitely NOT doing this without a removals firm.

  • Oh my mums a meddler so it won't stop. She'll be making comments and giving suggestions every time she visits.

Years ago when I moved I had to leave her in my house for a couple of hours and she rearranged my whole kitchen! I was like where are my cups  :D

Today I am hoping to hear from the solicitor at least to give me a time for an appointment.
  • Picked some bunk beds, bedding and curtains for my spare room. My BFs daughter and my niece and nephew will be staying over and I want to have the room looking all lovely for them.

Found the bedding and curtains on Wayfair cheaper than anywhere else so will order them today.

Bunk beds I will need to wait until after I have been paid to order those.

  • Oh my goodness that bedding is fantastic! I can't believe it GLOWS in the dark  brilliant!  I'm sure they'll love it.  I hadn't thought of Wayfair for bedding, will have to have a look later.

  • @Toni'sfriend Oh you are kidding. Why do they do that  :o

@LittleMissDetermined I thought they only sold furniture but I googled the curtains to see if I could get them cheaper elsewhere and they popped up in my search - I love them! Could get cheaper stuff but these will last ages anyway cos they will only stay maybe twice a month max.

Just cashed out on some survey rewards so £20.00 added to my Amazon balance.

The bedding and curtains would have cost me £79.97 from Wayfair but just ordered them from Amazon. They reduced the price of the curtains since I added them to my basket so with that and my Amazon balance I paid a total of £59.08 - bargain!!!

That's fantastic, nice use of your survey payouts too!

  • Yup. I need to get better at completing as many surveys as I can.

I've created a challenge so that others can join me on keeping a better track in the 2021/22 tax year.

The cash outs can help massively with Christmas and birthdays through the year so I need to do better.
