  • That's the last notebooks I'm buying for a very very veryyyyyyy long time!
  • It's the start of a new week. Time to get back on the weight loss plan for real this time, no more dithering!

11st 6lbs this morning so I've put on another 1lb rather than losing since last week. Not that bad considering all the junk I've stuffed in my greedy face!

Back on Exante, got a cupboard full of products to use up and I need to get to 10st by end of April.

I found a Nationwide savings book in my bedside cabinet when I was having a clear out, it has £50 in it so I am going to call them today to see if it is still active and if so transfer it to my main account. It's probably been spent already, I'm not that lucky!

Also hoping that the H2B ISA closing statement comes in the post cos I need that to go sign the paperwork for the mortgage at my solicitors.
  • So just off the phone to the bank and there is £100 in that account! Can't believe it. It is missing from my online account so requested for them to add it and when it comes on I will transfer that in to my furniture fund. That will help with some of the stuff I need to buy.
  • I called my local Nationwide and they are going to check when I can go to them to get the H2B ISA closing statement, means I don't have to wait for it to arrive in the post.

I'm hoping if I can get that from them by Thursday at the latest I can get all my paperwork signed with the Solicitor on Friday.

    I shall keep you posted.
  • Hi Dolly - looks like you're having a really productive day - well done on finding the savings book, I once did the same with a Halifax account I'd forgotten about.  I spent that on shoes though...  :D

Feels like things are all progressing nicely for you, it's the final countdown to getting your keys now - Whoop!  The next few weeks will fly by

  • Yup, feel like I've got through a fair bit today.

I'm doing all this in between work of course so feels even better its not on my time ;-)
  • H2B ISA closing statement is ready at my local branch so going to collect it at 4pm.

Will email my solicitor and see if I can go meet with her anytime from tomorrow.
  • Picked up my statement and I have to drop it off at the solicitors tomorrow. She will contact me when the paperwork is ready to be signed.

Yeah I like to try and squeeze as much as I can in to my work hours.

I can't wait to move so that I can be fully responsible for my own house, how I clean it, what products I use and where I keep stuff.

I mean I know I'm at home at my mum's but still she has the ways she likes to do things and I have my ways which are different.
