I’m sure it will be fine, lots of companies have had to make adjustments to online with the pandemic.Cheaper repairs are a positive but still not ideal to have to pay out at this point when you’re buying a new home. Or at any point really

Oh I know it is a nightmare at any time especially when I don't have savings to cover the cost of it. Also have my insurance coming out at the end of this month
So the H2B ISA account is gone from my online banking so hopefully the closing statement is printed already and on the way, will be eagerly awaiting the post until it arrives.
Just going to spend the morning drinking coffee and organising all my letters regarding the flat into a new folder that I bought.
Amazon are delivering a gorgeous new set of 3 project books, going to keep a track of all my spending and I paid for them using vouchers that I earned from surveys so doesn't really count as spending!0 -
Enjoy your organising, I have a house move folder with all the paperwork in. It was just a spare one I had. I also do surveys and have a lot of apps for submitting receipts. It’s amazing how quickly it adds up and I always choose Amazon vouchers and leave it as my balance for when I need something, like you say, it’s free money.LMD xxLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25711

I need to get better at completing them.
I've just ordered some new toiletries as my skin so so bad and I'm itchy and blotchy.
I've done some research and ordered a trial pack of La Roche-Posay Toleriane products, if they help I can order the full size products.

Also ordered some bubble bath body wash and moisturiser from Farmologie and Childs Farm to see how I get on with that.
Upsetting that I can't just pick up random bits when I see them on sale but I need to try and find something that soothes my skin.0 -
Just paid my CC which including my pending transactions was £51.50.
Need to sit and work out the funds for the rest of the month now.
Be back with an update.0 -
Okay so this is the current state of the bank account.
I've got £790.16 in my main account. Need to pay £560.00 for car repairs so that leaves me £200.16. Aim is to keep as much of this as possible so spending is at a minimum for the rest of the month.

My project books are gorgeous!
Just organised them so that I can keep a record of;
- Mortgage term, rates, monthly payments and overpayments
- Monthly running costs
- Mum £3,000 IOU repayments and my emergency fund saving log
- Home furnishing and decorating costs
2 weeks and 6 days until I get my keys.
Also my credit report has updated that Nationwide are going to remove the 2nd hard search they added in error. Hopefully my credit score will go up a bit again when this happens.0 -
That completion date is creeping up! I absolutely love organising things like that, and whilst I have my folder for the house paperwork I am such a spreadsheet geek so all of mine are on the laptop. I'm a bit of a whizz with excel formulae so it makes it easy. Hoping your credit score gets rectified soon, although I'm assuming the mortgage was the main reason you wanted it higher and that's sorted

It is! My uncle has got back in touch to say he can fit me in the end of March to decorate the place so my plan is to move in 2nd April so a week after I get the keys.
Oh I've got a lovely spreadsheet too but still I am a bit of a stationary addict so any excuse for a new notebook.
Yeah that's exactly why I wanted it as high as possible but it's bugging me that it's gone down so much already.1 -
Just had a look at my mortgage paperwork. It shows that I can make overpayments totalling up to 10% of my original loan amount in any 12 month period. So this means I can repay £5,100 per year without incurring any charges.
I would love to think I could make repayments like that but there is no way! At least I know I can pay some of it off without being charged.
My plan is to tuck away any spare money in a bank account then at the end of the year if I don't need it for any repairs or emergencies then I will make an overpayment which will help me when I get to the end of this 5 year fixed rate and might reduce my overall term.0
