Offload - I think for March this will be homeschooling! Last time I felt a massive weight off when they went back to school.
Learn - something I haven't done in a while, I will do some things with the children we haven't done in a while. Just try to relax and have fun this last week a bit more.5 -

Thank you for adding me Apple - much appreciated! I read through the challenge and thought I will cheer-lead - but I am still going to set my intentions for the month, because it's what we do! And I like roller coasters 🎢 🤣
Wages in. New DFD which I am very excited about. I have been paying extra - and have moved it from December 2025 to February 2024! Any spare cash I have is getting chucked at it, whilst also trying to get myself a month ahead. I have about half of April paid for so far including my mortgage! Whoop 👏🏻 On to the challenege:Re-set your thinking. I am just sticking to 10 minutes of mindfulness, 7k steps on days off (and whatever I can do on work days), aim for 7-8 hours sleep, and track my weight/food in an effort to still reach my target weight.
Offload your excess baggage. I was only just looking at this last week. I am getting rid of apps on my phone, people in my contacts I don't speak with anymore, and ongoing de-cluttering as I go.
Listen. In another life I did some counselling and this is so important.
Learn something new. I am re-visiting my Oracle Card decks and brushing up on them.
Eat well. I'll try for at least a small bag of frozen veg and a piece of fruit/day.
Rest well. Aiming for 7-8 hours sleep. It is vital I get to bed on time when I am working next day or I won't function.
Cherish each day. I try and be grateful during the day - when on my walk I run through all the things I am grateful for - and when I feel low/upset - I use this as a way to shift me back into a positive state of mind.
Out and about. Aiming for 7K steps on my days off (just over an hour walking) and on my work days I will try and stay active, and walk as much as possible.
Aim for 17 NSDs.
Sow some seeds. For me - keeping those habits on track will help keep me moving in the right direction to stay healthy and achieve my weight loss goal. Roll on gyms re-opening in April too!
Think about and ponder the year ahead. This year I am aiming to adjust to being back at work, and settling into how our new life looks with Mum and Dad. Stay afloat and keep momentum - no matter how small.
Extend a hand to others. I give £10 to WWF a month. Not loads I know but a start. I will try and buy something for the foodbank when I do my bigger shops - and drop it in whilst I am there.
Thank you again for running the thread this month. Good luck to everyone with their own personal goals and challenges too! I am imagining the safety bar sliding down as we are all sat on the rollercoaster. Don't think of the movie 'Final Destination 3' now haha!!!

Hello, Remote_control. Nice to meet you. You'll get a lot of help and support on here plus a few giggles along the way.
My next four weekly budget is on 5th of the month but the various donations to charities have come out today and a payment for the local food bank since I can't get there in person. So I did get up a bit earlier today and by the time Himself got up an hour later (early for him as well) I had fed the squirrels and birds, done some household admin, and had a bit of a tidy round. We went for a walk (at last, I hear you all say. She's been promising to do that for weeks!). Just been drinking tea and water today. I drink far too much strong black coffee so I'm needing to cut down on that if not give it up altogether. Had a lovely prawn salad for lunch and having steak (not quite so healthy) for dinner.
Swept outside and had a bit of a tidy there as well. I was absolutely appalled at the amount of litter and rubbish which has obviously been fly tipped on my walk today. I can keep the immediate vicinity clear but I can't cope with all this. I've emailed the council asking if they can do something. They should do as it's all common ground but we'll see.
Had a little bit of decluttering - just some cardboard boxes but it's all in the recycling now.
Plans for after dinner are a bit of a pamper session and then bed with a new book (a little later than normal).
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
First of the month so here goes!
Re-set your thinking. Have a look at your habits - I used a free trial of a habit forming app last week, was going to pay for a subscription but I can do this myself for free!
Offload your excess baggage - nearly finished KonMarie-ing everything so will aim to complete that this month.
Listen to people carefully and make them feel appreciated by doing so - will do!
Learn something new, or do something you haven't done for a while - got some books from the library about arthritis, and also looking to get back into my pre-covid volunteering.
Eat well - am pretty good at tracking as am trying to eat better in general.
Rest well too – this I'm not so good at! Sleep depends on my pain but has been better recently. Making more of an effort to go for a lunchtime walk too.
Cherish each day and tell us of at least 3 gratitudes for it - I'm terrible at this so must keep it at the forefront this month.
Out and about - love being outdoors (am in the wrong career!) So shouldn't be too difficult.
Aim for 17 NSDs - going for 18, not sure why but I decided 18 will do!
Sow some seeds - for me it's continuing to read and commit to my physio now so I reap the benefits later.
Think about and ponder the year ahead - am trying to plan time off work so I can get better work life balance.
Extend a hand to others - will add another donation on top of my normal ones.
So day one wasn't a NSD as I had a discount code for some mothers day flowers that expired today so I ordered that for my mum. No other spends though and this was a planned one.
Gratitudes - no pain today!, beautiful sunshine, getting some work related frogs off my back.

Was a spend day today. Did a decent food shop, made a donation to a charity, sent off Mass intentions, candle dedications, raffle tickets and a donation to a Catholic priory. Also ordered some supplements. Managed to decluttered some old paperwork into the recycling bin. Did walk to and from one shop.
Grateful for:
Good night sleep.
Day off work.
Kind staff at bank.
Afternoon nap.

Today I am grateful for a good time at work, for pupils willing to try new tech stuff with me, for being able to choose to get up early, for starting the month with an NSD, for dd bumping into some primary school / brownies friends when she and I were walking and then going out on her skateboard with them.
