I loved rollercoasters as a kid. My favourite was the Pepsi Max in Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach. My nana also loved rollercoasters and we’d come off the ride, and join the queue again and again. And back then, it was new and the wait was about an hour each time!
My lovely nana is no longer with us. But I still enjoy a rollercoaster. I do assess their condition now though. If that thing has a patch of rust on it, I’m not going near it! I want a new model, latest technology, daily servicing!
Will aim to get the 17 NSDs in March. It’s a challenge for me to reach 15, so 17 will be interesting. I found plotting out NSDs in my calendar quite helpful last month.
Budget is set for the month. Based on one income. Any savings are to be set aside to pay for car tax debt.
My personal challenges in March are to:
- Finish current book
- Finish current course (the one I’ve procrastinated on for 2 years)
- 12 walks of at least 30 minutes
Good luck in your March endeavours turtles!

Life certainly is a rollercoaster and continues to be so.
My plans for this month cover a few elements of the challenge all at the same time so here goes.
- Look after myself a bit better than I have been doing. Eat healthily. Get out and about walking. Stop wandering around like a bag lady just because there's nowhere to go and I can't get my hair done. Actually, I think I get too much sleep - earlier to rise and later to bed.
- Keep learning to bake (means I'll have to stop buying cakes and biscuits for Himself and then having to eat them myself!). Keep looking after my little "garden". Take care of our immediate environment (maybe it'll rub off on the people who think it's OK to leave their mess wherever they feel like it). Feed the birds and squirrels. Read a lot of the loads of books we have. Stop watching TV programmes I've seen again and again. Try some new (and healthy, of course) recipes.
- Keep on top of all things household.
- Have a serious declutter.
- Plan for the year ahead. That's a difficult one but I'll try.
- Be kind and laugh a lot.
That will do to be going on with, I think. Good luck, everyone and thank you, Apple
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8
