  • Bit of a late update today, I woke up early and made my PADs and then I decided to go back to bed, finally surfaced about an hour ago.  Not like me, but I feel like I needed it. I'm going to stay with family this weekend for a bit of a get together so I need to pack a bag shortly.

No real change in terms of debts. I think I'm happy to play the long game with CC7 and as long as I'm not being charged interest then I'm happy.  Statement for the card should be generated early next week and I can pay another £100 off the balance.

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the long weekend.

I think you needed the extra kip from all the effort you are putting into paying off your CC's! Hope you enjoy your time away seeing family this weekend :) Always seems to do me good when I go visit my folks. Reboots the system so to speak. x

Yeah, I do love family time! Hopefully it will be the break that I need. Was a late night last night and then up quite early so I think it will be an early night tonight before heading home in the morning.

Made my PAD this morning £3.86 split to CC7 and sealed pot. Counter upper duties sorted and added up. Today will be a NSD for me and I have already declared this as it will be a full on day so I may not get chance to pop back on.

No more Vinted sales as yet, so may need to start reducing things slightly to try and shift them. I do still have some items to add but I'm away so that will have to wait. There's no real rush and I'm not really doing it for the money, but just ridding myself of things I don't use.

Off to walk the dog in the rain (which he hates) before breakfast :)

  • I must try and post on here about lack of Vinted sales more often... The universe listened and I just sold another bag for £85 :)

Hello @LittleMissDetermined I spotted your diary details as you’re a regular poster on the Sealed Pot Challenge so thought I would take a look at your diary. That’s an incredible amount of debt you’ve paid down, 35,000 odd pounds repaid is that correct?
What might you be using your final sealed pot amount for, or is that none of my business?
I use mine for a short “all expenses paid” break with my other half. A break is so much more enjoyable when it doesn’t add to any existing debt. I’m down to just over £3.6k now all on zero per cent deals having been well over 25k some years back.
Anyway, very well done with what you have achieved so far. The end looks very much in sight for you.

Hello @antomac thanks for bobbing in. Yes, my highest (from a few years ago) was £42k plus but now I am determined to see that lovely round zero…

My sealed pot will be used for Christmas costs and a girls Black Friday shopping trip away at the end of November.

  • Good morning. Today will be a busy and spendy day as I am still on leave from work and spending the day with hubby out and about.

PAD made £100 to CC7 as the statement has been generated. There are still 3 weeks to pay day - I am counting down already :D

Need to get that bag posted for Vinted today too, the sooner they get it, the sooner I get the money!

Hope everyone has a good day, despite the gloomy weather!

Yeah, I’m always counting down because I update it on my spreadsheet to work out what I have available to spend each day haha

Have you got a blank copy of your spreadsheet? I'd love to see how other people record? I'm just doing balances and writing spends each day - which is pretty similar to my bank statement!
