I was tempted to take today off but the other half couldn't get it off, not enough holiday days, so it would have been a wasted day really.
Best to keep myself occupied at work. Although it looks set to be a quiet day. There is hardly anyone here!1 -
Seems to be the case everywhere with folks taking holidays from Mon to Wed to get a full week off! I shall have a long weekend with booking off Monday as the children's school isn't open.

Well, I have had a lovely day today. I have spent the entire day thinking it's Saturday though so goodness knows what I will be like on Sunday
Created a budget spreadsheet template for a fellow MSE-er - always happy to help... I'm a firm believer in paying it forwards and goodness knows what a pickle I would be in if it hadn't been for the wonderful support of forumites and their knowledge and advice over the years.
I have been able to colour in more on my charts than I thought, I must have had a senior moment on pay day and not coloured enough in! Too busy budget sorting no doubt.Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25714 -
You seem to be flying on vin! I shall follow your lead and get a few items on over the weekend! I am loving the pad chatter, I didn't realise at first it included bills also (seems more achievable now) I will blame tired eyes lol x3

Good morning everyone! Speaking if tired eyes @Throughmyfingers I've been awake since 5:45 and even though I'm shattered I can't get back to sleep. Napping will be on the cards later... You can also PAD any amounts you send to challenges or savings.
PAD's made to sealed pot and CC7. Today is going to be a NSD for me, I just have chores to do and I'm going to do some pottering in the garden. I also need to send meter readings to Eon, sometimes they forget to remind me and I certainly don't want estimated ones, I like to pay for what we have actually used.
CC4 keeps sending me emails to do a balance transfer as I 'have room on my card' - I know I do, it's cleared!!
Hope everyone has a good day, whether you're working or just enjoying the bank holiday. I'm off to update my signature

Well, even though I’ve been nonstop busy all day today it’s been so pleasant being out in the garden. And 3 loads of washing done too! It’s supposed to be nice tomorrow too so I’ll strip the bedding and get that through.LMD xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25711

Just read through this. Very inspiring and hopefully I can use this to keep myself motivated for my own debt free journey!!!1

Thank you so much @abaka, I'm glad you found it motivating
I am astounded at how many people have the patience to read my entire diary given that it spans almost 18 months now. It's been a rocky road, there have been ups and downs, wobbles and spends, tears and frustration. But the main thing is that each and every month (or day if you consider the PADding) my debt is going down.
I wish you lots of luck on your journey and will pop over for a read now.
